It is fine to disagree with a post, but when it is the same people on several threads, doing the same thing aiming it at a POSTER instead, it is not on.

I agree with you to some extent GagaJo, there was a very explicit example of one poster continually hounding and bullying another poster on another thread last night. Thankfully deleted now. Report if you have concerns.

I will certainly report comments if a poster goes too far, far better than long spats that go on and on.

I don’t see how you can put a limit on the number of times you can disagree with what a particular poster has written, or police which other posters hold similar views, and also disagree with someone.

If a poster starts the same sort of threads all the time - anti brexit, anti government etc, ( or vice versa ) - then they are basically wanting an argument with people who think the opposite - that’s how forums work. If I didn’t like the answers I was continually getting from the same people, I’d stop starting controversial threads in all honesty. And I’m certain that if a thread was completely ignored the poster wouldn’t be happy, as quite often they are looking for a ‘heated debate’

I’m not talking about this thread in particular - just my general observations over many years on talk forums.

I try to buy local, buy English and buy as many products as possible that are made in the UK. Nothing wrong with supporting UK firms when you can do.
I expect citizens of all other countries do much the same.

I'll be first in the queue when either vaccine is offered. If I had a preference, it would be the AZ, but only because my son took part in the clinical trials and it would be nice to have this one knowing he participated in its success.

I'm NHS staff ,the vaccination of all the staff is well under way. I'm getting mine on Monday.
Remember your local NHS / Primary sector is probably the biggest employer in you area? So...lot to do , plus getting these members of staff free to get their vaccines.
Regardless of which vaccine you get , you get protection, even if the second one is slightly delayed.

Well, so many more young friends have posted about this since- and the OP is very very mild. Best if I don't post some of the ones I've seen today who have been pretty damning and not mincing words about their DM reading mothers- some of them have had to take to drink.

Yes because sometimes poppyred you might be wrong and it's important to listen to others in order to work out what we think. Nobody is always right. It's very important to have the capacity to change your mind. I admire people greatly who do that and are able to say I was wrong.
