Just a suggestion but a nieghbour ighbour ghbour, a retired teacher, told me that during WW2 50% of a class went to school in the morning and the other 50% in the afternoon. At least every child was at school every day and no extra teachers were required. Each group was set homework to do in the remaining 50% of their school day.
