Lemongrove Tory MP’s getting in on the act are those who dislike Cummings, it’s obvious they would use this to try and oust him. Odd as it may seem, there are actually some Tories who are honest and have personal integrity, who believe that Dominic Cummings, having made a mistake, should have apologised. Like their constituents, they are angry that he hasn’t apologised and are speaking out because they believe that he should resign.
Which bit of that is a problem for you? Do you believe that MPs should have blind loyalty to their party leader, and his unelected adviser, however compromised their position?
Of course we all know what happened to the last lot of Tory MPs who voted with their consciences, don’t we? It will be interesting to see how Boris Johnson/Dominic Cummings deal with this lot.
