My favourite thing about summer is being outside, and getting a suntan while i read lol My least favourite thing about summer is being bitten by gnats and mozzies and wasps who i hate so much lol
Favourite thing. Getting my washing dry. Least favourite thing. So hot at night, fans on, legs out the bed perfect, then too cold. Legs back in bed, nice, no hold on, too hot again. Menopausal and the hottest summer since 1976 don't match.
So much I love about summer, wearing light dresses and sandals, walking in sunshine, feeling the sun on my body. Least favourite thing. Chocolate melts!!!
I love being able to play golf in shorts and a polo shirt instead of four layers in the winter squashing around in the mud. I do not like the uncomfortable nights where it is too hot to sleep.
My least favourite is that I suffer from hay fever. My favourite is setting the paddling pool up and having my seven grandchildren over splashing around and having fun.
seeing my garden blossom and grow with the raspberries and strawberries is just the best - worst thing is in Autumn when the apples are ready, have to chop and freeze them ready for later- can't give away much as we live on the site of an old orchard and there are several apple trees up and down the street and they are all ready at the same time
Just love sitting in the garden on a lovely summer's evening with a good book and a glass of wine and just relaxing but really do hate having to do the gardening in the summer when its so hot
I love that people smile more during the summer. I dislike how difficult it is to sleep. You have the choice between windows open and too noisy to sleep, or windows closed and it's too hot.
Loving that everyone seems so much more relaxed, perhaps as there's fewer cars on the road. Worst thing is it can get too hot and uncomfortable for sleeping when the temperature gets too high.
favourite thing used to be taking Grandchildren camping but they are in their thirties now so now my favourite is Nicholls Icecream in Parkgate. Another favourite is sitting in the garden in the evening with a glass of wine. Least favourite is mosquitoes which make a beeline for me but ignore my husband.
Favourite thing is the lovely weather and spending time with family and friends maybe at a bbq or in a beer garden. Least favourite is all those pesky flies that keep bugging you!
