Favourite is barbeques and least favourite is the dreaded hayfever!

I love eating fresh vegetables that I have grown on my allotment. I hate hot sticky nights when you can't sleep.

I love warm weather and holidays but hate hayfever!

Best thing - lying on the beach with a good book, with the noise of the waves and children's laughter in the background. Worst - hayfever, sniff..

My favourite thing about summer is watching all the plants come to life in my garden and the least favourite thing is when it's so hot and you still have to do the housework.

I love the warm weather so a favourite has to be sitting in the garden with a good book & a cup of tea after spending an hour or so tidying & weeding and thinking how nice it all looks in the sunshine.

Favourite thing - the sun. When the sun is shining I always feel happier.
Least favourite thing- flies. It is always a battle keeping flies and other bugs away from food in the summer.

The best thing about summer for me is having so many flowers in the garden. The worst is getting a red face from the sun.

My favourite thing about summer is being outside, wherever, without being bundled up in coats, scarves and hats.
My least favourite thing about summer is being bitten by gnats and mozzies who make a 'beeline' for me.

Best thing - Spending time with the grandchildren on the beach, in the countryside and in the garden. Worst thing - rain spoiling well-made plans.

The too long summer school holidays which are hard on working parents AND Grandparents! But love the early morning walks on the Moor, amazing sunrises & me time.

This is a difficult ask: I love EVERYTHING about summer, blue skies, warmth, light evenings, salads, children playing.

There’s not much I don’t like: wasps, hot nights making it difficult to sleep but in the north west we don’t get such heat! I do love reading so I can always read!
