On my wish list is a Nespresso machine, some Molton Brown goodies and motor racing biographies such as Ross Brawn's and Martin Brundle's new books

Top of my list is a KitchenAid Artisan Mixer which I have wanting for years. Fingers crossed this is my year!

I am after some new books of sheet music for my singing lessons

Some kitchen knives for me, getting into my cooking so would love some good one.

I would like something new to read. Hubby has been left with the task of finding me a new author

To wake up on Christmas morning to discover that I have a beautiful singing voice. The ability to sing would bring me joy.

As a child in the 1950s I never made a list and was always delighted by the book and toy I received. Money was very tight and each was treasured and well looked after. As I grew up I never changed always preferring a surprise from anyone who wanted to give me a gift but I must admit to saying I loved reading if they needed help. Now retired hubby and I have everything we need in material things and don't exchange gifts but every Christmas we sit, enjoy time with our children and grandchildren, relax and count our many blessings

GHD straighteners as mine are broken!!

The one thing I'd really love to get for Christmas (besides all these lovely books!) is a rise and recline chair. I've got Multiple Sclerosis and can't get out of our chairs without being pulled up. They're so low and slope backwards and I don't have the strength in my arms to push myself up! So, that's at the top of my Christmas list but I'm not holding my breath!

I would like there to be at least one film over Christmas that I haven't seen before, isn't aimed at children and has a bit of 'grit' to it.

That my 8 month grandson will have recovered from major surgery for cancer and that his follow up chemo will be short. My Christmas wish is that no other baby should ever have to face cancer.

I'd be happy with a new dressing gown. People spend crazy money at Christmas, but something as simple as this would make my day x

Well a great 2017 for all is a must but come Christmas, can someone buy me socks? No one ever does as it's seen as too boring but I would love them.

I wish for a 'tidying and cleaning fairy', as my house is really really bad.

Top of my Christmas Wishlist is World Harmony. We are losing so much potential by hating people and the world has so much to gain by working with each other.

Of course, what I want most is for all my family to be happy and healthy, but I would like an iphone too!
