Similar here, Calistemon. I'm not sure whether she's an angel or a fairy, but she does have wings and a pronounced drunken lean. And a red velvet dress. She came from the faraway Land of Wilko.
A fairy. She's very old but has had one new dress and new wings over the years.
She's probably a bit too heavy for a smaller tree as she leans to one side or forwards, drunkenly. Or it might be because she's been at the sherry, left out for Father Christmas,
For me, it’s all about the pagan tradition. Nothing to do with Christianity. It’s about bringing nature into your home. This year I dallied with the idea of a fake tree, but I’m getting a potted Nordman for the first time in two years. My owl will be on top of my real tree ?
I've always had a star. In my childhood we had a succession of Angel's made by us children. My lovely old silver shiny star has finally broken and cant be repaired. I cant find a direct replacement. Lots of stars but for standing or hanging little ones. Maybe I'll get some ideas from this thread and try a new idea?
