Tinsel on my tree too. Lots of baubles in blue, white, silver and purple. I have one orange/gold bauble put on the tree by DGS 3. I also have a tree skirt, crocheted by me a few years ago. Not a very good photo, but you get the idea.

No tinsel or baubles on my tree. Just warm white lights and lots ornaments of different wild birds; robins, wrens, greenfinches, blue tits, etc, and a beautiful peacock at the top.

Our DD had to move back home with all her stuff and our wee house is crammed full, complete with a mattress stuffed behind the sofa, and boxes everywhere. Seriously no room for a tree so we're making do with a garland decorated with lights and home knitted decorations this year. Which I rather like tbh. I have a serious excess of Christmas decorations including tinsel tucked away though.

We have tinsel on our tree but I no longer drape it everywhere as I used to.

I've still got thin tinsel. Had it since the seventies. It's not garish or "in your face". Just pretty. Can't imagine our tree without it.

Tinsel and all the works for me I'm afraid, I love it all but I'll never be in Homes & Gardens

No tinsel on our tree, lots of warm white lights plus red and gold baubles. Presents underneath, all in red or gold paper. We place a few fake presents there too so that the ugly base is always hidden.

I am “tinsel phobic” no tinsel in our house for over 30 years ???

I notice that all the decorated trees in shops, magazines, online etc.are all tinsel free. Also the posh trees seem to be smothered in baubles with no room for tinsel.
What are my fellow gransnetters doing this year?
