The price of a cup of tea.

Yesterday on a day out I had two cups of tea, one at a small privately run museum, one in a country park.
The first was waitress service, proper cup and saucer, tea pot, milk jug.
The second was a tea bag in hot water in a paper cup, DIY with a cardboard stirrer for the rest.
Each cost £2.50. No prizes for guessing which I preferred.

Cheap. About $6 here but you do get a little teapot usually. A lot of choice these days, too. The v best is our local Vietnamese restaurant where it is free and you get a whole thermos flask full. No milk though.

I love a cup of tea proper tea drinker but it’s getting very expensive for the treat out now isn’t it? You feel like you’re buying the whole box of te a bags!
