Anyone else had one from Craig this morning Nice polite one
but he doesn’t seem to be a poster of GN

Can't wait to join something or other on line and be Chestersmiles. Lovely. Reminds me of the Cheshire cat. Or Chesterdrawers. Chester Conklin? Chesterfield. Feel da chest. Stop there.

All sorts of talk going on.

Thanks for the info, Graphite. It's a shame we don't have foresight as a standard feature of our brains, or we could suss these things out without needing to talk about it publicly to inform one another!

I haven’t seen that anyone here has been indiscreet or given those pm-ers any facts about themselves at all.
So he/ she/ it has been sussed out.
We’re just having a laugh about it.

I came to the realisation a few months ago, that all sorts happens by PM. One way or another.

Reading all these comments, I wondered whether I had got a pm from craig too. I just checked and yes, I have! It's talking about my comment on the camping stove thread - polite but it doesn't say anything useful or interesting. I'm pretty certain it's AI-driven (unless some poor lonely soul is sitting up all night commenting on everything he/she/it reads!). I'll be blocking.

Scam scum don’t introduce themselves as someone who wants to empty your bank account.
One member here has stated that she did reply.
These people could take weeks to reel you in little by little and you won’t know it’s happening until they go in for the clincher.
By this time you’re so invested in this relationship you’re hooked.
I’m pleased that my lovely late mother in law is no longer here.
I’m certain tat she would have been reeled in.

I had one too from Craig about my message in the cat thread. I just deleted it. I will block him as well

And yet many of you are replying in public to yet another bunch of questions from a young man.

This time he's calling calling himself Faraget - an interesting choice of name considering the Reform Party is known to be collecting our personal data and refusing to say what it holds.

He was previously CrazyUSA and other names. He is currently trying to find out how old you, where you used to work and how compos mentis you are when it comes to household tasks.

Be careful. He does this all over the internet.

Wise words Graphite.

Chesterfields has actually deleted their earlier pm.

I had a message from that poster and it has been deleted. It was polite though. I did not reply.

Luckygirl3 Tue 27-Oct-26 12:08:43

I feel quite overlooked!! smile

crazyH Tue 27-Oct-26 12:00:53

I’m feeling left out too ……

Calendargirl Tue 27-Oct-26 11:52:01

They both begin their posts with ‘Greetings’.

Sounds Christmassy.

Graphite Tue 27-Oct-26 11:46:56

How do you know he was the previous other names?

Because he posts the same questions on other boards including Reddit, Disney and Facebook under other names. Many members on those boards have expressed concern that he’s phishing.

Ask yourself why a 33 year old male living in the NW of England wants to know how old women are, where they used to work and how compos mentis they are when doing household chores.

Yes me too. Will delete and block. Annoying isnt it. I think I will block all pms. Not that I have had many. But I did get the .Chester one and one a few years ago when I was quite new that was very odd.

There’s no need to block all PMS.
If you don’t recognise the sender use the useless search facility on here or use your own search engine.

Why not block all those that look suspicious?

Some time ago you asked me not to reply to your posts, so I’m not.

Reeling you in. They have you on that first hook when you reply.

Commenting on posts seems to be just like Chestersmiles .

That is exactly why all recipients should report "Craig" to GN. and ask them to block him. Like they did that fatherless creep Chestersmiles.

It is NEVER "polite" or "friendly" male strangers to pester women.

How many times does it need saying 🤷‍♀️ Then shock horror we read that people have been scammed and have no idea how this happened.

I don't mind if he finds out I once put a red sock in with the white wash but am wary of the many other questions he asks.

I had one from both of them.
Ignored.

Usedtobeblonde Tue 27-Oct-26 10:56:45

Has anyone who had one from Chestersmiles also had one from Craig?
I had a couple from the former but then stopped I wonder if that door is closed now.
