Why do you think it may not be the original?

It's at the British Museum 10th September 2026 – 11th July 2027

Because, realistically, in a time period of around 900 years it's fair to wonder if some enterprising persons may have had a stab at re-creating it.

After all, there are still a few very rare but surviving copies of Magna Carta.

It was I believe worked by nuns at Canterbury?

Its coming home,
Tapestry's coming home"

Just been reading about the journey - and the amount of security involved.

Eat your heart out Prince Harry! (Pun intended) wink

But is it the original? I should imagine quite a few copies have been generated over the centuries.

And the French were initially reluctant to loan it to us.

I'd like to see it, though, original or not.
