Weirdo unintentional weight loss and a drop in blood pressure can signify a medical problem.
Mick should see his GP.
I have bunions. Looking for a shoe that is comfortable.

Good Morning Everyone,
Its bright with cloud here in Brackley at the moment.
My usual bus trip into Bicester this morning ,have a coffee and snack before doing a shop and maybe seeing [people I know.
I will watch cycling on TV this afternoon from the french Alps .
My Health has seen a weight loss ,and lower blood pressure readings a good sign?
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning, Michael12 and everyone!
Michael12, that's brilliant with your weight loss and b.p, very well done!
monk08 What a gorgeous dainty little flower!
Last night I started binge-watching Gimme Gimme Gimme with Kathy Burke and James Dreyfus. There were 19 episodes in all - 18 Standard, 1 Millennium Special, and a Comic Relief Sketch.
I've seen them all before over the years, and I crease up laughing every time! I could actually play all the characters and do the scripts myself!
In one episode, where Beryl was lying in the open coffin in the living room, the continuity department weren't paying 100% attention, as while she was supposedly dead, her feet kept moving position!
I've not had any more trouble from Mr Creep since I gave him a polite but stern talking-to. He's no longer begging me to marry him or inviting me to go around his flat or a cafe! Whenever he sees me now, he totally ignores me, so I think I'm safe from being buried under the carpark!
Yesterday after work I went into Morrisons for a few bits and a woman customer was having a right dingdong with the lad on the tills! Something about how he wouldn't accept several of her zillions of money-off coupons because they were several days out of date! They were having a right go at each other, then the security guard came up and separated them! The cashier was perfectly correct; he's not allowed to process out-of-date coupons, not worth putting his job at risk for!
I'm on a work break, guzzling a can of Monster zero sugar and scoffing tangerines; now I'm back on in a minute or so!
Have a good one, all of you!
Good Morning from a dull chilly Co Armagh, the sun was out earlier , but no heat in it
Neighbours are off in their caravan for a week , I have strict instructions not to water the houseplants , seems I drown them
I have to do a wash , at least it will fry outside in the breeze
Hope everyone has a lovely day
Good morning from the east coast. It’s a very breezy day today.
Yesterday I had a lovely lunch with my two best friends it was nice and leisurely and even though we talk everyday on our little watsap group we had some nice in depth chat.
We met up with DHs sister and partner for a curry last night which was lovely.
Today we are picking up mum and little dog and going to see my uncle. We can’t do anything about his rapid decline. We think he’s given up it’s so frustrating and stressful. We need to see him weekly now and today he’s asked to see little dog.
We are supposed to be going to our local village fair late afternoon but I’m not sure we’ll feel like it. Our grandchildren are all going but we will possibly miss them they’ll go earlier. We can’t get there until tea time but it goes on until 11 pm for the adults.
Thoughts to virtual friends with stress and family worries 💐
Wishing all travellers a safe journey and enjoy all celebrations this weekend. 🌼
Forgot the picture.
Bonne vacances Georgesgran.✈ 🏖
Good morning all from a damp Glasgow, no sunshine here. It's has been raining for days, the weeds are having a field day! It is also cold, so I made Scotch broth soup yesterday.
DH and I managed to cram so much in yesterday, Doctor's, Morrison's, pharmacy and a few local shops. It was a slow process, the pain is now radiating from my hips to my toes.
DH caused a chuckle in the surgery, when the nurse called out his Sunday name. No-one calls him that. Eventually, forgetting where I was (I am so unladylike), I roared It is your turn!! He was totally oblivious and deaf.
I suspected DD might want fresh fish from Morrisons, they have both a butcher and fish counter. The quality is excellent.
One is not supposed to contact her at work, but I knew she would be annoyed, if I didn't.
I received a shopping list in return, complete with images so that I wouldn't make mistakes. 🤣
I nearly collapsed at the checkout, when my bill was double what I expected. Have you seen the price of fish!!
Then I realised a large part, was either DD's shopping or DH's 00 Guinness. He is longing for a real pint of Guinness!
Of course, our journey, along the Main Street took ages; DH was bemused at how many people stopped to speak to me. He was surprisingly patient for once.
One parishioner, a fellow RA sufferer, who is also having a bad RA flare up, enveloped me in her arms. Someone, who understood how awful I am feeling. ♥️
An added bonus was, that I saved making a few phone calls and two separate parishioners asked for help with things. They bought me some time, for people often waylay me at church and I end up rushing about, trying to do catch up.
Today, I have my usual Saturday Parish duties. The P.P is still away and the young curate arrived back yesterday. We found the P.C still on the page, he was working on last Sunday, before he left. He just leaves things and walks away. Heaven knows how I am going to get the bulletin from him to proof read. Everything with him is last minute.
Last week, I couldn't find the bulletin paper copies (all 600) . There weren't any. He switched on the photocopier and walked away.
There was no paper in it!!
Gaga, I have been thinking of you and your brother.♥️
Wishing you all a pleasant Saturday.
Good morning from a bright but very windy NE.
It was so noisy last night I had to wear earplugs to get some sleep.
DS and GD2 will visit this afternoon, there are plans for a trip out so that GD can take photographs.
GD1 has sent lovely photos of her holiday in Corfu, she especially enjoyed a boat trip and swimming in the blue lagoon.
Have a good day.
Morning from a bright S Hants, still with a breeze.
Enjoy your shanties * Marzipan* and you the concert gMattie.
MrJ bought two hanging baskets back from the farm shop yesterday, he did get the potatoes originally intended too.
Our local was reasonably busy last night, we all had a lively discussion on various subjects.
Bbq food out of the freezer today for family visit tomorrow.
Have a pleasant day all.
Good morning everyone from south Manchester where it’s dry and 15°C is forecast. Showers are expected.
I’ve not much on the cards today. Nice occasionally to have an easy day. I’m minding L’il Miss for an hour or two this afternoon while her mum goes for a swim. She so deserves that session each week, but my son in law is off to Liverpool today with his mates, hence my required help.
I’m trying to decide whether just to mooch around here or take her on the bus to the Trafford Centre (a first for just we two) for Lush bath bombs and the chance to do some more serious shopping (the Lego store comes to mind - she’d be in heaven!).
Good Morning from Durham. Blue sky, sunny but very windy.
DGS2 had a school ‘graduation’ from Reception ceremony yesterday. All the first years attended and sang ‘I’ve got a friend in you’ (cue tears from some of the adults). The children will be randomly mixed next term, but he’s staying with his best friend.
Well, I’m all packed and ready for Cyprus. We fly at 3.15 and I’m looking forward to a week of doing very little.
I’d like to lose weight Mick but I’ve plenty to lose! Seek advice if you’re worried about your weight loss.
Definitely a more upbeat thread today from most posters. I hope it continues. Sadly, there are a few, with worries beyond their help.
Best wishes to all. X
Good morning everyone from Inverness where its dry but cloudy just now.
Yesterday I got caught in another heavy shower whilst walking into town, I got to the shopping centre and dried off in the Hotel Chocolate cafe. I was tempted to buy chocolates but just got the coffee instead seen as I’d been to the gym 😇. I took a few things back to Next and then bought a few more. Today I’m hoping to get quite a few jobs done around the house, they’re often sadly neglected by me and then a bit of gardening too
GrannyIvy I understand, difficult times especially for the DGC, hope things settle a bit soon
Hoping everyone meeting up with friends and family over the weekend has a lovely time
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings 💐
Good morning from a sunny Suffolk where we enjoyed the same yesterday.
Thank you so much for your birthday good wishes yesterday. I had a wonderful day with a delicious lunch, cards presents and so many flowers that I ran out of vases and used a very old ceramic jug bought years ago in Cyprus.
The children bought me a Spa day voucher at a lovely hotel near Woodbridge which includes a Prosecco afternoon tea. I shall keep it til the October half term holiday at their suggestion and they and DGC will meet us their for all to have afternoon tea. Since the girls have travelling times of more than 4 hours I’m touched by their devotion.
About to have my second cuppa and read your posts. Hope all is well and there is sunshine in your day.
Good morning all and it’s a glorious day here on the Suffolk coast. Typical as we’re going back to Essex today.
We’ve had a very wet week.
DS2 and gd will be picking us up. Gd feels like a day out with her leg still in a brace . She’s very down and needs a bit of something different to take her mind if things.
DS has strained his calf muscle playing in the semis of his tennis comp yesterday . He was 4-O up and had to retire.
So with him hobbling, Dh shuffling with stick and DGD on crutches, I’m not going to have much help packing up. 😂.
Hey Ho! We’ll manage.
I hope you all have a happy day.☀️
Good morning all from Waxham on the Norfolk coast where a warm windy day is promised. The beach and dunes here are just behind the campsite and there are seals swimming right up to the beach. Just wonderful! However there are also lots of families with children racing round on a very busy campsite . Poor Crazy dog is quite distressed by it all, not that we like other people’s music either! We should have realised that a weekend campsite by the sea would be busy. We made the decision last night to move on and cut our losses and we have booked a quiet site further inland for tonight.
Take care everyone 🌸
Good morning, Michael and all GNs from South Yorkshire wbere it is dry but overcast. Yesterday, after a short, easy session at school, I came home and made a large pan of chilli, which will be portioned up for the freezer today, with some left for my supper this evening. I had a raft of photos from GS and we exchanged some text messages.
I took my new binoculars for a walk through the lanes, and, as is normal when you carry binoculars, saw nothing😂. If I had gone without them it would have been teeming with birds! I did use them to watch a couple of newly fledged blackbirds in my garden being fed juicy worms by mum and dad. They will get another outing sometime today, but first I plan to do my weekly Aldi shop, cut the grass and clean the inside of my car.
Have the best day you can, folks.
Good Morning all from a sunny 16 degrees central south coast. Set to be a nice day or two now. A nice change from the mini autumn we have just experienced!
I am waiting for today's update on m y big brother who is now in the Hospice It won't be good news I know but at least he is getting tender loving care as his last days sadly peter out.
I have a hair appointment at 8.30 this morning ready for my choir concert this evening. It has become traditional that I always have my hair done for the concert so don't want to disappoint! I shall try to have a nap this afternoon as it is always tiring performing a 2 hour plus programme.
DGD2 is continuing with the South Downs Way walk she is doing with her boyfriend. It is 100 miles from Winchester to Eastbourne and very hilly in parts with lovely views. Her dad (our DS) raised money for Cancer Research by cycling it both ways without stopping a few years ago. Some kind GN friends will recall sponsoring him and he raised over £4k.
Have the best day possible everyone, especially those with troubles or worries of any kind.
Good morning from North Wales.A dull start.
We are looking after the grandchildren until Wednesday so an earlier start to the day😴We are going back to our little town for the day as there are several activities that we have booked the children onto which they are looking forward to.
GrannyIvy💐
Wishing everyone the best day possible🌷🦩
Good morning all from a cloudy North Leicestershire.
Yesterday's journey to and from Hemel to collect the girls was very slow as was the journey home. Today we are going to a cafe in the village for one of their famous toasted cheese sandwiches. We may then go to a fayre at Bradgate Park.
Have the best day possible everyone.
Good morning from S E Essex, the sky is blue with a few clouds. Fingers crossed it stays nice 🤞🏻
DS4’s two children will be dropped off here at 8am, then the busy day begins…
I will take GD to gymnastics training, DH will take GS to The Imp’s school fete and inflatable day. At least I will be able to sit down, The Imp and DS4’s little monster can be partners in crime there is only three months between them and they get on well.
Hope the weather is good to you 🙋♀️
Redcar congratulations on that find, I know that uplifting feeling. I bet you whooped with joy
Good morning from a dull windy Leicestershire.
Yesterday went without drama so hoping for another quiet day today.
Wishing everyone the best day possible.
Good morning everyone from a sunny mid Essex. A dry and less cold day is forecast. The DGD’s school sports day was cancelled yesterday as the playing field was still too wet after Thursday’s rain.
I finally found the tiny screw that I’d dropped on the dining room floor on Wednesday. I may attempt to assemble the cat deterrent today.
I need to put some plants in the front garden this morning, and probably buy more to fill the gaps.
llfl I hope your DH’s bees are less aggressive now. Enjoy having your son’s company.
multicoloured have a good day either way your family today.
marzipan I hope that the sea shanty festival is good, it sounds like a fun day!
Have the best day you can everyone,
Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny 🌞 Northampton; fine weather promised today after a dull and damp week.
Had a good shopping trip yesterday, apart from there being no Tu sale at Sainsbury's!
Got everything I needed then went for coffee and a delicious bacon roll in Costa.
Yesterday evening was exciting as I watched my rugby team beat Leicester to go through to the final at Twickenham next week! I was kept going on the edge of my seat by 🍷🍷! Such rejoicing in the stadium after the match - I should have been there....
Need to be out by 10.30 this morning as I have booked tickets for the cinema at mid-day; am meeting a friend there and we shall be watching 'Tuner' starring Dustin Hoffman.
So, an early breakfast.
Wishing all a pleasant day.
Good morning from a bright and sunny Essex coast.
DH is helping a friend this morning so I shall get the train into town .
Nothing particular to get but a visit to M&S food hall is on the cards.
Neither of us slept well so probably a lazy afternoon .
Enjoy the weekend everyone xx
