Marydoll so you didn,t convince him to take the 24 month aged garlic?
He can take it with medication ,I just take it instead of and my be this morning is 116/69.
Medications from doctors often treat the symptom not the cause and have side effects.
I u cerstand that some/most folk think natural remedies are hocus pocus but honestly I, e used homeopathic and herbalist remedies since my 20 ,s and I would recommend this to anyone.
Like I said he can take it with medication ans see if it helps.
I hope he feels better soon ,stressing about his numbers will just make them worse
Hope life gets easier for you soon

Good morning, Michael12 and all!

After work yesterday, I went to the chippie for chips, cheese and gravy, and a bottle of Coke and sat on the seafront scoffing them! Just about to stuff a chip in my gob when a huge flying shark - Simon the seagull - built like a pterosaur, actually swooped down and mugged me for it! I was killing myself laughing! I love gulls and thought Simon well deserves it!

On YouTube, I watched another WWE match: Full Match, Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez — Women's World Championship, Payback 2023. These 2 giant ladies of the ring, both with their height, Raquel at 6ft and Rhea at 5'9, both built like tanks, and personalities, with Aja Smith as the referee. It was a brilliant match between 2 of the nicest ladies in the business.

Also, Avery Ross/Avery After Dark: My Husband of 12 Years NEVER Existed… | Clark Rockefeller Case

Two huge glasses of Delaney's Country Cream, which washed down a couple of Paracetamol, I read my Chat magazine, a hot water bottle and crashed to bed!

BUT, somewhere around 4 am, I woke up, totally fast, literally screaming the place down with utter fright, hair stood on end!

On the wall above my head, I have a huge poster of Minions, cellotaped on, and the ratbag peeled off and landed on my head and face! I hope the neighbours didn't hear me having siren-blaring screaming abdabs!

So I crashed out of bed and cellotaped the brat to the right-side wall!

Have a good one, all of you!

Good morning everyone from warm sunny Lancashire.

MrB and I have enjoyed our usual walk around the dock. Glad to see the sunshine back, it felt like winter yesterday.

As always, thinking of those with troubles in their lives.

Wishing you a good day whatever you’re doing. 🌹

Good morning from a cloudy but mild Black Country.

Not long back from having a blood test, my appointment was for 8.10, and I was home by 8.25! 10 minute walk away.

Hair appointment this afternoon, for highlights and trim.

Lovely walk yesterday at a local Country Park. On the way Mum rang me. So when I arrived at the car park I rang her back. She said 'Jan I am confused, is there something I should be doing today, no I said, Oh I'm sorry, I don't want to be like this.'

This is happening more often now, it is really so sad.

Wishing you all the best day possible.

Thank you FGT I feel we are embarking on the same journey as you did.

Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny 🌞 Northampton. Only just got up so not read any of your posts yet. So many.people up before me!

Stayed around home again yesterday; did some washing and a bit of tidying. Whatsapped DS to see if he would take my large package to the Post office for me, and he appeared after lunch. He was on one of his days off which was lucky. Parcel taken and according to the tracking now on its way back to John Lewis.
I then spent another.coup!e of hours removing weeds from the patio and borders, but I find it difficult getting up and down from kneeling.

Dance classes this morning, coffee afterwards then a visit to the shops for a few things; I mainly want some fresh fruit and like to pick my own.

Happy birthday to Sir David! 🎂🎂

Wishing all a pleasant Friday.

RosesandLilac Fri 08-May-26 08:23:54

Good morning, we’ve had a drop of rain overnight but not enough to make much difference.
I enjoyed sorting out my fabric and threads for another embroidery project yesterday, I need to decide on what size to make it. I think it’s going to be a bit larger than the last one, let’s see how it goes!
Housework needs doing today, sausages and mash for dinner I think 🤔, I also need to sort out something easy for tomorrow as I might do an online painting day, I haven’t done any painting for months now….
Best wishes to all x

Good morning from Sheffield

Happy birthday Cornergran🎂

My lounge, kitchen and dining room is now spotless. I’ve just come up to get a shower and then I’ll be working at nine.
I’ve just put a line of washing out and then 10 minutes later had to bring it all in again, it’s raining

My usual friend is coming round for coffee and then I love my couple of hours on a Friday afternoon curled up on the sofa crocheting and watching some kind of thriller film.
Take care everyoneflowers

Gelisajams

Good morning from Morecambe Bay where again the day promises to be mainly dry and cool with the sun showing its face now again.
Early walk in the woods, where the deer were active yesterday, and the squirrels are busy stripping the beech nuts. Then on to the dog groomer.
I’ll ’groom’ DH’s hair while Crazy dog is away.
I’ll try and get a few more young plants planted then I’m off for an overnight stay with a friend in Yorkshire.
Thinking of all with difficulties and cares. Take care everyone thanks

The squirrels haven’t found me yet.🤣

Oh dragonfly I’m sorry to hear of further family anxiety. 💐
You must be feeling completely untethered these days. x

Good morning from Sunnyside sandhills northwest coast.
Home from Berkshire and off to art group soon.
Journey back good, DD made sandwiches and the London train connections were fine.
I was tired but the nice friendly lady next to me on the homeward train started chatting which frankly I didn’t feel like.
She moved north a few months ago to be near her DD and was very happy about it. She was an artist, so we had that in common.

My cat was overjoyed to see me after being fed by my neighbour and didn’t leave my side all evening which was rather sweet. It feels very chilly here. My DDs’ flat is always warm. If I ever move, it will this cold house that does it.

Birthday greetings cornergran and thoughts to Gagagran🌺

Good morning from a warm sunny Suffolk. We are having a roofer to put a cowl on the chimney pot which lost one some time ago. After having 3 rooks down the chimney with the consequent chaos and damage they caused,we felt we had to do something.

DH will be here whilst it happens as I’m meeting my dear friend who lives in Essex in Ipswich for lunch and a long catch up. She has booked a table in our favourite excellent fish restaurant.

Happy birthday Cornergran and I hope all have a pleasant day.

Marydoll Fri 08-May-26 07:58:04

Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow, where it is 8°c.

I hope you have a lovely day, Corner, 🎉🎁🎂

Yesterday, after, catching up on chores. I did the ironing, with my new iron, a replacement for the one I blue up.
DH usually does it, but of course he can't.
The increased meds have done nothing to bring down his BP and he is suffering side effects.
I am so concerned about him.

I spent ages trying to update the parish website, including trying to upload the tee off times for the Parish golf tournament.
It had been done badly, as a PDF, so I had trouble trying to tidy it up. Just when I thought I had cracked it, I realised names were missing and eight people were teeing off at the same time.
The organiser hadn't proof read.
I have nothing to do with the organisation, but there would have been chaos, and a few angry golfers, if I hadn't intervened.

I received twenty messages (that did not include the emails) from one of the restoration fundraisers, I have had another two since I woke up.🤬
She is driving me mad, She sends bulletin and website items in the wrong format, keeps changing her mind, then asking me to amend and rewrite the item.
She is like my stalker. A dog with a bone comes to mind.
She always begins with: I know your husband is very unwell, but could you....?

I did manage to continue my cull, lots more still to do.
Given that there is more white showing in my red hair, some items no longer suit me, others looked dreadful on me, due to my weight gain.😔

Tomorrow is the first of two Parish First Communions. To make the hall look more like a church, we raised money to buy chair covers for the First Communicants' chairs.
Guess whose job that is to put them on? 😉
I have been hassling the P.P all week for a floor plan, to no avail.
It doesn't matter, I perform better, under stress.

I wish you all a pleasant day. My priority is to cut DH's hair, he looks like a sheep dog! 🤣

Gingster Fri 08-May-26 07:54:25

Good morning and the sun is shining.

Yesterday I did a big shop with DIL. We go to a large sainsbury about 20 minutes away . It lovely, spacious, and not at all busy.

The ear nurse came to de-bung DH’s ears. She is an ex NHS nurse and had branched out on her own to do this very needed service, in peo0les homes. Cheaper than the pharmacist and quick and thorough. Dh wasn’t impressed though, didn’t take to her and said it hurt. He’s become a bit of a ‘snowflake’ since his stroke. I’m hoping he’ll feel the benefit today.,🤞

DGD is in a lot of pain since her knee operation and has a large brace on her leg which is so heavy she can’t move without help.
I’ll phone later to see if they had a better night. 🙏.

Today I’m being picked up for our Friday friends lunchtime gathering. Dh doesn’t want to come, he’s tired and can’t be bothered with chat. He’ll be pleased to have a peaceful couple of hours without me trying to have a conversation with him.,

Happy birthday Corner have a lovely day 🫅.
Gagagran I hope all goes well for your brother. 🙏.
Fgt you have a busy day. Nice to be out and about. Well done you ♥️.

Take care all and have a ‘good’ day.🌺

Good morning from a British Leicestershire.

We had a lovely day in Bakewell yesterday but before we set off we had more bad news. I am beginning to think nothing is going right for our little family at the moment.

Happy Birthday Corner and safe travels Brook.
Wishing everyone the best day possible.
