Having lived in the Mediterranean for the past 45 years I do love the sun and the way of life that comes with it, but I have never been able to sit out and sunbathe.
Both my parents had the type of skin that went a deep shade of brown after being in the sun, but I have a pale complexion and wouldn’t tan no matter how long I sat in the sun, I don’t have the patience to sit long enough either!
I can’t bear being cold, rain depresses me, the only drawback about the heat is having to expose more of my aging body in summer clothes 😅

Although once it gets over 28 degrees, these days that's it! higher temperatures I find quite intolerable, I don't think they're good for the body, let alone the skin. I'm glad I don't live in Australia, as fabulous as it is in other respects, because of the extreme heat. On the other hand, I'd hate to live in a cold country, such as Canada, even in more temperate Vancouver, it just rains all through the winter we were told when we were there, dreary, grey weather affects my state of mind.
