What’s happened today on Grandsnet StevenGnTech ? And will we be getting more ?

I couldn’t get on at one point this afternoon looked it up on google and it said it was down again anyway wasn’t long and seems ok now but what’s happening to it !!!

There was a delay this morning, Sunday, at about 7am I think, but it was accessible later.

I went on really early and Mick's Good Morning had a few messages already. When I looked again after an hour or so the same few messages were there.

I tried googling to see if there was a reason and Mumsnet was working so it was weird.
I had withdrawal symptoms. 😔

It didn't come on until the afternoon.

I love Gransnet. It's such a supportive friend.

I used that and got the response ’no it’s not just you’ which meant I got on with other stuff and totally forgot I hadn’t had my daily GN fix until just now!

Since everything else was working I just assumed it was a Gransnet problem.

It was disappointing to find Gransnet unavailable this morning. It was like calling on a friend and they're out 🤷.

Missed it..then proceeded to tackle the list of 8 birthdays coming up in the next 5 weeks. 3 cards, 5 presents, nearly all sorted, and unusually good exchange with DiL.

Maybe a taste of things to come having read the other day that some internet providers are looking to ration internet access due to their rising costs. If it happens those that are attached to the hip with their mobiles will need counselling

The providers won’t be limiting their output.
Not all but some will be charging more per month. Not all of them, though, giffgaff have frozen their prices for a year.
So many people are unaware of how much DATA apps use.
Apps are using DATA continuously even though you might not be using them. Ie, you’re paying for something that you don’t necessarily need.

Oh good. I thought was maybe my phone playing up.

I have been trying all morning and no luck. I was thinking I would have to email Gransnet HQ to see if it was just my phone.

Oh good! GN it's back, I thought it was me.

I have been trying since 8 am, just got back on , my telly has been acting up too, keep getting a message ...no signal from sky box....haven't got sky...

I never noticed it was off but then I don’t come here as regularly as I used to..
