I tried to post this morning - must have been just before their outage as my post was there but never posted. I have been intending to see whether things were operative again but got diverted to help DH in the garden. Only just back to check emails etc.
Sorry to hear of the problems a lot of us are suffering from and hope for better news tomorrow. TTFN

Good Morning Saturday 25th April 2026
(35 Posts)Good Morning Everyone,
Its twilight at the moment but its dry and cold outside here in Brackley .
Todays plans will do a bus trip into Bicester , have a coffee and a bite to eat then shop maybe see people I know, may return around lunchtime as well for a beer ,
Plan to have my usual Chinese Take Away later as well.
Health OK cutting back on the Lopermide capsules as they build up number 2 and gives me impression of weight gain.
Take Care,
Mick
Just popped in after a busy day with DD2 and DGS2 to see how RosesandLilac is doing. It really isn’t good enough!!! X.
Here's the Answer as to what happened.
Hello Michael12,
Thank you - we had an outage this morning but should be sorted now.
Best wishes,
Annie

What, please, Karma is a «lafuma» ?
Garden chair - French. We have a couple - in fact they are our second lot.
Isn’t it normal to use a capital letters for proper nouns- and that includes brand names?
Thank you for the explanation, I was beginning to think it was some weird object.
Good afternoon everyone from sunny Lancashire. I’m having problems with my hands which makes posting difficult, but I’m trying to keep up with the GN news.
MrB and I have enjoyed a morning walk around the Dock in the sunshine. So many beautiful flowers out now, I prefer wildflowers to garden plants. We found some lovely forget-me-nots and pink bluebells. This afternoon we have been birdwatching on the Albert Edward dock, lots of great crested grebes and common terns.
As always, thinking of those with troubles in their lives.
Wishing you a good day whatever you’re doing.
We love Lafuma chairs - they last for years /are sturdy and comfortable - unfortunately our favourite ‘Moon ‘ chairs are 25 yrs old - so showing age and use - but not manufactured many more 🫤 so we’ll keep up with any necessary repairs 👍☘️🙏🏽
Good afternoon from a beautifully sunny and blue sky West Oxfordshire.
I’ve just made a coffee and chocolate three layer cake. The rich chocolate muffins have gone in the freezer.
We have just spotted a very large pigeon nesting in our orange blossom. It looks quite a rickety nest and the bird is bigger than the nest! I’m afraid Milo and Ripley are going to have a field day.
R&L I’m so sorry you are still waiting.🌹
I had tried just after 0630 this morning and nothing ,so I went out as usual .
Anyway on return I went onto Gransnet Facebook page and sent a message , I also did a email
as well plus another message on the Age Concern website

I missed you all this morning!
Google is your friend, Rosiesmaw. I hadn’t a clue either. Evidently it’s a French make of garden furniture so I’m guessing a sun lounger or similar.
Just returned from garden centre and lunch at DS1’s in the garden. Too hot in the sun but chilly in the shade. We moved around their large garden, according to how warm/cold we were.
Thought I’d try to get on to Gransnet again and there you all were. 👋.
DS and I got all the plants into the pots which had held daffs. They have been removed and I’ll have to decide what to do with them. We usually take them up to our cottage garden, but of course not this year. 😢.
I saw gd2 and 3 who are having a little gathering at their house this evening, so were getting organised for friends arriving . They were doing some baking and sorting out music and entertainment. It’s so lovely listening to their lives and hopes for the future.
Dg3 ,their cousin, on the other hand, is indisposed with suspected ACL injury. She is a dancer and athlete and hopes this will be her future. Scans booked for Monday to see exactly what’s happened to her knee . Her leg is in cased into a contraption with dials to tighten /loosen. Poor love is so concerned and worried.
I’ll spend the rest of the afternoon reading the papers in the conservatory.
I hope alls well with you all.🌺

Afternoon, another sunny day in S Hants, slightly cooler, my son called in this morning to borrow our strimmer, we caught up with his news.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
Me too Redcar I was getting withdrawal symptoms.
I'm outside in my sunny garden soaking up Vitamin D.
I was helping at our Saturday cafe with its brand new kitchen including a dishwasher which only takes a couple of minutes.
I've planted out lettuces in my raised bed and covered the whole bed with a pigeon proof gauze.
I may do one trip to the tip before Gaelic café. And before I lend my car to a friend.
Yesterday was lovely and sunny but I wisely didn't strip off too many layers because after the art exhibition I bought a painting my friend drove us to Portobello where we intended to sit on the prom and eat our fish suppers. By 8pm the haar had descended so we sat in the car to keep warm.
I hope the weekend goes well for all of you.
What happened to the site?
Good afternoon from a sunny S E Essex 🌞
A busy day so far, local butchers and Aldi, three loads of washing and general pottering.
RosesandLilac your wait is unreasonably long…
I wonder what time gransnet came back? My day feels incomplete 😀
Good afternoon, no access all morning.
Hope everyone is okay.
Good afternoon from a sunny Glasgow, where it is 12 C.
I have decided to wear a dress, in the hope that it will distract from my hair.
.
I am off to open up the Parish Hall for Mass, the first time, we will have weekend Mass there.
It will be very interesting, as we have lost our huge car park to the builders. I suspect it will be chaotic!
Enjoy the rest of the day, everyone. R&L.💐
Just got on myself so good afternoon all.
Finally got access to Gransnet at almost 2pm!
Have a good day everyone!!
Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 4° and cloudy. Roses it's awful that you haven't been seen yet. Bellasnana we darent let the boys nap in the afternoon on a school day. They would never go to bed! I'm another who is hoping nothing is wrong with Madeleine.
Yesterday was a lovely day, wasn't it? I had a washing hung out on the whirly by eight o'clock. I did half an hour in the school library and had a chat to the Head Teacher and the Depute. Then home where I did some weeding. I sat out a little while but the garden is needing work done to it, so it didn't make me happy. Later I brought in the now dried washing plus one wasp which had been hiding. It was removed post haste. I loathe wasps. A quiet night ensued, although I was up 4 times in the night.
Today my plans have changed. I won't be going for breakfast today but rather tomorrow. So today I'll wash the sheets etc and get the ironing done. I'll probably do more weeding. I have a couple of deliveries due- one is out for delivery already and tesco is due this afternoon. Maybe omelette for dinner. Have a good day all.
Good morning all from a very quiet campsite near Kidderminster where it is a beautiful calm cool morning. DH is out with Crazy dog and I’m taking a break from packing the camper up. We are almost ready to head north.
Hopefully we can get ahead of the traffic. Thinking of all with problems, worries and ill health. Take care everyone.
Good morning from a sunny hotel room with a view of the sea. Today we have DHs meeting of his railway group. Some of the wives do attend but my great friend in the group died some years ago and I find it all rather different now.
