Good Morning all! It's mild but drizzly here on the south coast and set to be so all morning. Happy with that as it's the cold I dislike though it would be nice to see the sun!

DH is leading his cycle club morning ride so will be off for the 9am meet up. They will have coffee and cake at his planned destination and be back for 1pm, all being well. I have a few things on my to do list so will get on with those and make lunch for his return. Still pondering on a difficult decision which does not seem to be getting any easier to make.

Kind thoughts to all GNs with troubles of any sort and hope the day brings some ease and peace of mind.

Good morning from Durham where a dry, but cloudy is forecast - feeling cooler than it actually it. Lovely picture Marzipan. I was delighted to see my favourite beach at Bamburgh has been voted 3rd best beach in the World.
Busy weekend as DD1 is coming at 10am with DGS1 and we are off to buy him new school shoes. I’ll visit a friend later and then I must raid Tesco, as DD2 and DGS2 are coming tomorrow for lunch and play.

Best wishes to all. X

Good morning from damp South Lanarkshire.

That was kind of them Bella.

I’m so pleased with the paint colour of our living room, it feels soft and calm but there are a few spots to be touched up. DH’s vision isn’t what it used to be. I’ll need new cushions now so had a look online, when did they get so expensive?

Eldest GC will be sixteen in a couple of weeks but if DH’s surgery actually goes ahead this time we won’t see her so I’m taking her out today. It’ll be just the two of us, we can choose a gift and have some lunch. I’m looking forward to her chat.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Good morning from N. Bucks where the weather is just the same as ever. I’d really like to get out and have a tidy up in the garden but not while it is so soggy and chilly.
A local food shop today , nothing much else arranged but plenty we can do.
Wishing all a good day especially those with worries and troubles, may today bring some improvement.

Good morning from a dark, drizzly, quiet Cornwall.

Had a lovely morning at the church where I was baptised as an adult 40 years ago. Met friends I haven't seen for ages and we made paper beads, something I've done many times before, but it was a delightful gentle time, especially as there were free homemade cakes and coffee.

Decided to take a couple of buses to Perranporth where the library has recently been relocated. It was always a friendly, welcoming space but now that it's in an old bank there's lots of room for children to move around. It's so pristine that one little lad insisted on removing his shoes as he came through the door, in spite of his mum's insistence that it wasn't necessary.

I sat and read a book as the sun - yes, the sun! - filtered through the window, then braved the wonderful bracing beach (pictured). That place is so good for my soul, and my lungs. 😁

Today I have no plans but do fancy going to St Ives, which I haven't visited for ages, as the library has a Bernard Leach book I want to read. Alternatively, there's a tree giveaway at a nearby library so I may ditch culture for nature, as I can't do both. Well, I could but it would mean carrying a tree to St Ives. 😂

Good morning from a breezy but dry Torbay following a chilly day yesterday mainly due to the wind.

Small businesses like that are worth their weight in gold, Bellasnana, for the guarantee of personal, reliable service.

Bad luck regarding the knitting, Melanie61!

How annoying regarding the buses, grandMattie! Are they usually more reliable? Stagecoach serves us well down here with about four buses an hour into town from near here. Soon, they are changing over to electric buses which I’ve heard are wider which will be interesting, given the amount of on street parking to be negotiated!

After one particularly trying journey due to inconsiderate parking, DH said to the driver as he alighted,

“I wouldn’t want your job!” to which the driver replied,

I don’t want my job!!”

A good weekend is wished to you all. 🦩💐🦩🥰🦩

Good morning, for once it isn’t raining (yet) here in south Glos.
I went into town yesterday, the first time for months, to the supermarket and the car wash, my car was filthy.
Not very exciting and I was out of breath by the time I got back from getting the shopping into the car.
A quiet weekend ahead 🌹

Good morning from Sheffield.

A frustrating evening when I discovered the jumper I am crocheting for my granddaughter had a mistake in the pattern. I had just about got to the hem. It has bobbles on it and at some point I hadn’t turned the garment correctly and the first few bobble rows were on the wrong side. There was no alternative but to pull it right back to the yoke.

I am working this morning and then we are going to Newark town centre for a mooch round . Then home for a quiet evening.
It’s our eldest son’s 43rd birthday today. Goodness knows how I managed to have a middle-aged son , surely I’m not old enough. We will call and see him at some point.

Take care everyone flowers

Good morning from Malta where a sunny day is forecast with a high of 15°C and still windy.

My car wouldn’t start yesterday so I had to quickly get a Bolt ( similar to Uber) to take me to my hair appointment, after which I decided to walk back home despite the wretched wind.

En route, I stuck my head into the place where I recently bought two new tyres for the car to ask if they sold batteries. They were so kind, gave me a seat and offered me coffee until another customer had been dealt with, then the son (it’s a father/son business) drove me the short distance to my home, started my car, I then followed him back to his shop and he put a new battery in for me. Such quick service with a smile.

Today I will clean the windows as the rain of last evening is over with and we are promised good weather.

This evening is the final of the tennis in Doha which should be an exciting match. I’m rooting for Alcaraz as usual! 🇪🇸

Great to see karma posting yesterday.

Wishing a good day to you all.🤗

Good morning from Bristol. It has rained in the night and more is expected later. Will this wet winter ever end?
I had a very productive morning. Sewed up the borders on the quilt - I’m expecting to finish by Monday.
To my surprise, the bossy lady didn’t come to the book group, and I was asked to “chair”. Was ok.
I need to pick up a prescription, so had to take a bus from this village; not one but two ghost buses! I decided to take a different bus. Blow me if that one had just gone and there wasn’t another one for 20 minutes. Having already wasted more than 30 minutes waiting, I gave up and shall go early next week.
Serving coffee in church this morning, I’ve got various cakes and things left, so haven’t baked.
Best wishes to the poorly and anxious, remembering fgt.
Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩
