Cleaning your back.

I have a Nu You bodybrush and it's fantastic.
It got it for £5 in a sale and to think that I hesitated to buy it !

I think they are excellent. Mine has a handle on each side which allows me to exfoliate any part of my body. I find a brush really difficult to use due to mobility issues. Wouldn't be without it. Also use another one to apply creams/ointment to my back.

I often can't sleep for my back itching. I usually have to get up and go and get a fork.

I always thought that too much washing and exfoliating was what irritated it. DH and I often have a bath on a Sunday morning and afterwards I get him to scrub my back. It only helps temporarily. As I say, I think it's the scrubbing which makes it worse. Using a lotion to replace the natural oils in the skin should be more use, but (a) I have to go and find him every morning to do it and (b) I then have to wait for it to sink in before I can get dressed.

Well I gave one a try.
I always have an itchy back at night, so I gave it a good rub with the latest acquisition. I don’t know if it has removed masses of dead skin cells, or any lurking dirt, if either of them existed, but it certainly gave me an itch free back! Much easier to use than the back scratcher DD2 brought me from India.

I do occasionally give myself a scrub with a long-handled brush but mostly, like Juniper1. I just allow gravity do its work and let the soap and water sloosh down from a higher level. In my experience, if a product is promoted heavily on SM, it'll be like those old K-tel ads: whatever it is will be a disappointment and spend its life in the cupboard under the stairs until you move house and it goes to to the tip.

Don’t think I’ve ever washed my back in the shower. Just let the water an shower wash float over. 76 years all is well 😂

I bought some of the African nets, they're great for my back. Plus the amount of dead dry skin I have now is unreal, that net scrubs me to my very soul!

I bought one from Shein recently. Easy to use and exfoliates really well.

I bought two of them over a year ago after being bombarded with their advertising. They are both in the cupboard. I didn’t find them particularly good and they have to be dried afterwards. I hate having wet things around in my bathroom so I stopped using them. Not impressed unfortunately

We have long handled brushes with bristles.

I've never heard of those mesh towels. I use one of those long handled back brushes.
Those scrunchie are no good.
