Good morning on Gaudete Sunday, a joyful day in the run up to Christmas.
Your trip sounds enjoyable, Mick. Currywurst, No. Nüremberg bratwurst, every time!!!
Unfortunately, I have lost my interesting, amusing and lengthy post!
What a lucky escape, you have had! 😂
Apologies for the miserable post yesterday, I don't usually wallow, but I was particularly mad at the world and my current situation.
It seems so be unfair for one person to have so much to deal with..
Today, I stll feel awful, but not so awful, wheezy, but not so wheezy, barking like an asthmatic puppy, rather than a large dog and the pea souper brain fog is more of an Autumn mist.
Onward and upwards.
I was posting on the Parish website and social media at Midnight, that a parishioner in her eighties had crafted goods to sell for the Restoration fund.
We only found out late last night. This crazy brain has advantages!
I am amazed that this urgent need for repairs has brought our Parish Community so close together. 💕
Today, the plan is to wrap gifts I hope we have no visitors. I want to be alone.😉
Susan, 💐I seem to have missed your news about your heart, Bear in mind, I was away with the fairies for a few days.
When I was told I had suffered a silent heart attack, I was terrified. I was sure I was going to drop dead at any moment,
However, you eventually learn to live with it and the anxiety, in my case, eased.
When I had the second one, I calmly phoned 999. because DH wasn't calm.
When I was away with those fairies, I think I read that NannyJan's mother was ill. It may be someone else's mother. Sending best wishes anyway.
Thank you for your ongoing support and kindness. It does help to keep my spirits up.
Wishing you all a lovely Sunday.
