Will they reconcile do you think? Are you bothered?

I wish them well as father and son and hope the family can heal their rift.

But from a ‘royal’ perspective? No way. Harry made his choices and as far as I’m concerned, he can live with the consequences.

What Harry said about Camilla was nasty, how can such be forgotten, her children must have been shocked, I doubt much can be glossed over.

Sarnia Sat 13-Sept-25 18:24:26

Harry will have to earn back the trust he had from his family before he became a blabbermouth on matters which should remain private.
I used to like him but if I was related to him I would be watching everything I said in case he's gathering material for his next book.

Make lots of money, not list of money! My typing has gone to pot today!

Ghastly Burrell has written another book, this time The Late
Queen, she was a mother to him, shared secrets with him, he even know what she said when she was told she had bone cancer, he finished working for the royals 28 years ago. Vile man , guaranteed to cause nausea for me

Me too, Anniebach! I can’t believe our perceptive late Queen would have had much time for him. He is an odious little man whose aim in life is to big himself up regarding our Queen and make list of money in the process. I saw him on tv once and he gave me the shudders!

I sincerely hope that the pair of them can have a reconciliation. However, it is unlikely ever to be the relationship that it once was, as too much anger and bitterness has been expressed publicly by Prince Harry, and I imagine his Father has been deeply hurt by it. I don’t think there will ever be full trust anymore, which is so very sad.

sassenach512 Sat 13-Sept-25 17:08:51

I agree Annie Bach
You can understand why William doesn't want any contact, I can imagine how hurt and upset he must have been when Harry thought it was ok to tell the world that his brother had been circumcised among other personal details, I'd have been furious if my sibling had betrayed me like that too.

I think Harry realises his father is still seriously ill and he has come to ensure his inheritance. I hope he is not using his children as bargaining power, he knows Charles dearly wants to see all of his grandchildren.
I used to like Harry, he did much for good causes till his manipulative wife decided they weren't going to make money doing royal duties for free

Anniebach Sat 13-Sept-25 16:16:17

Harry told the world his brother had been circumcised, seems he has no worries about speaking of his brother regardless of hurt,

I think The King will want to reconcile with Harry, take the royal situation out of the equation and its simple parent and child dynamics, and estrangement, all too common, causes a lot of heartache for both parties. It does seem that Harry regrets being so indiscreet, he actually looked really happy to be here. I think William is going to be a harder nut to crack, Harry and his wife have both been very mean about Catherine. Meghan of course has form as far as estrangement is concerned with not only her family but friends having fallen foul of not meeting her expectations. So whilst Harry, may offer some mea culpas, I really don't think she will and I think that will result in an impasse as to moving forward and embracing the whole family. I think Harry will have to straddle two separate positions.

He will choose Meghan.
As you say she has form for estrangement.

I cant see how he can make the two positions work.

Is anyone 100% sure that in the future, Harry wont spill any more Royal beans?
He needs the money or something?

Having watched his performance this week, I think he is quite a hateful individual. His sole sim is to usurp his brother and Kate. He thinks he has succeeded. If Charles is thinking of bringing him back in an official capacity then he is a fool. Many online commentators are saying Charles wants to rehabilitate him before he goes as he knows William will make sure there’s no way back for either of them. Who knows? We will never know the truth about any of it. It’s all smoke and mirrors.

There are umpteen photos of Meghan's 'baby bump' in all sorts of positions at various apparent stages of a pregnancy. Looks most odd. Sometimes up and sometimes down at all the wrong stages. Mind you, who can forget the ghastly video of her twerking while apparently in labour?! Whatever.

We need him inside the family rather than setting up a court in America in opposition to William after Chatles dies.

these have not materialised

She could have saved some eggs which ties up with the other rumours that she used a surrogate.

If this was the case it seems odd that she looked visibly pregnant.
Was it fake padding? That would seem odd to me.

I've read that Meghan's previous husband said that she'd had a hysterectomy while still married to him. Could be scurrilous American gossip or could be why we are never shown their faces in photographs.

Still no reason why they aren’t hers. She could have saved some eggs which ties up with the other rumours that she used a surrogate. Not showing the children’s faces could be to protect them and also something that other in Meghan’s circle do. In the photos of Archie as a baby I could see Thomas Markle.

Allira

I can never understand why people post on a thread just to say they are not interested in the subject.

🤔

I’ve said that too, on occasion, Allira. I wonder if they want the rest of us to look stupid for being interested. Frankly, I’m not interested that they’re not interested! 🤣

But FGT2 did ask are you bothered
So it was an appropriate answer in this particular instance. 😁

I should not skim read.

Harry wouldn’t live here and leave the children in America, Megan needs the children in America, yes she is their mother but they also are a strong connection to the royal family , she posts photographs of their hair and them running often

25Avalon Sat 13-Sept-25 10:45:49

I see trouble ahead for Harry’s marriage. He may want to return to Britain but I don’t think Meghan does. She didn’t like it here before so why would she feel any different now particularly when so many expressed approbation towards her and Harry following their broadcasts dissing the rf. Meghan is forging ahead with her own career in her own country and Harry is on a limb. He misses his family here so I can see why he wants to reconcile with his father. Charles would like to see his gc and its rumoured Harry would like his children educated here. I can’t see Meghan agreeing with that however. What I can see is Harry trying to creep back and Meghan taking the blame for his previous behaviour.

Harry has not only alienated himself from his family he has alienated his children who had no choice in the matter. He should at the very least make it possible for Charles to see his grandchildren. Or how can he point the finger at Charles for being a rubbish dad, looks like he isn’t much better.

I'm sure Charles is longing to see his grandchildren.

Meanwhile what about poor Thomas Markle? No hint of a reconciliation there.

What a cold hearted, vindictive woman Harry’s wife is.

I was wondering if the reason for the attempted reconciliation is because they will be realising their children have little or no family, and even Doria hasn’t been seen much.
I thought this too when one of Meghan told one of her ‘friends’ on a clip from her show that ‘everyone’ was still talking about the food at their wedding. Who would that have been, since they’re hardly in touch with any of their guests ( the UK ones anyway)?
I was also thinking that the children will now know what kings, princes, and princesses are, and will presumably be asking questions.
