On bedrooms:
oh goodness, I didn’t know there were rules! In our family it has been much more pot luck. In one house DS had the biggest bedroom in the house, DD had a room in the attic and then took over the spare room too so she had two rooms. When guests stayed everyone moved around of course.
On jam jars: I noticed that Meghan’s chosen jars are those ones with the annoying corners that hold on to the last scraps of any jam/spread/pickle. Prefer round jars myself.
I might steal her idea of numbering the jars though like art prints! I wonder if there will be competition to get 1/10.

). In families with two same sex children the eldest got the bigger bedroom. In my house the two oldest shared a bedroom, likewise the two youngest. Perhaps that's why they've all always been good about sharing anything.
