I've just had a cold call from a chap offering to provide a call barring device for my phone.......to stop cold callers.

I asked him if he meant like him and he said 'Yes it's a bit weird, isn't it?'

I then did my usual trick for cold callers which is just to put the phone on the table and get on with what I was doing. It dawns eventually that they are talking to thin air.
