Tattoos all over

I must be in the minority (yet again, lol!) but I honestly don't mind them. I actually love looking at other people's tattoos and yes, some can look a bit scruffy or dirty, but some are honestly works of art. I love programmes like Tattoo Fixers and Ink Master, even though I'm the only member of our family who doesn't have any. Each to their own though - it's up to each individual what they want to do with their body, and it's also fine for other people not to like tattoos.

I recently saw an lady of mature years who had a tat on the thigh - done obviously when she weighed a lot more Consequently said tat looked like it had be done by Edvard Munch - all kind of saggy and as if the ink had run. Wrong on so many levels

I think is perfectly ok to say you don't like tattoos, I certainly don't like them, I think human skin is gorgeous and wonderful as it is, but that's me, others think differently, they see tattoos as art. And I believe the Maorie have used tattoos for a very long time as body art.
But when I see a beautiful man like Beckham covered with tattoes I can't help feeling it makes him look grubby as if he needs to have a good scrub to get them all off.

I also think they look dirty, and maintain that what looks acceptable on a young, trim person does not look anything like that on an old, wrinkled, overweight pensioner.

Although there is an advert I saw recently for a woman that survived breast cancer and had a flower tattooed where her breast was removed. I did get that!

Tattoos is a subject that comes up every so often on GN and massively divides opinions, one of mine has a few on his arms, I've told him I don't like them. I grew up when they were really verboten, only Hell's Angel axe throwers covered themselves in tattoos, wild horses wouldn't induce me to have one. What do I know though, now it's body art! Having got one rude private message on this forum, because I said I didn't like them, is it ok to express personal preferences anymore, probably not I realise they don't have the same connotation they had when I was growing up. Anyway each to their own! Still don't like them, a young person's natural unadorned limbs to me will look better in that state.

I hate them .
A couple of friends have them and tried to persuade me to have one .
They even suggested flowers knowing how much I love them .
I like my flowers in the garden or in a vase and not on me .

Those all over ones just make the skin look dirty somehow. Very off-putting

You should go to your local swimming pool for a real horror show.....
