My husband didn’t have any music playing when he died but he did pick the music for his funeral. He was part of a ukulele band and they played his favourite tune Irish Rover as his coffin came into the church and Up Up and Away as he left.

If I am exiting this world rather than choosing music for my funeral I think I would go with a instrumental piece, either Albatross by Fleetwood Mac or Allegri's Miserere, the latter has such haunting Soprano pieces, best sung by young choir boys, perhaps will have both, after all I am popping my clogs.
