It's a choice between Who Wants to Live Forever? by Queen or Shine on You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd. Oh, and another Floyd one - Comfortably Numb. I'd like to die listening to one, then have the other two at my funeral.

Considering how long it is, they could skip to the guitar part, if I look likely to go quickly.

Just what I was thinking! I think I’d just like to be listening to stuff I usually listen to, nothing deep and meaningful. I’d maybe like the last movement of Beethoven’s 9th, if I was going out with a bang!

As my husband was dying , I sang ‘ Only You ‘ ( the Platters ).
At his funeral we played Eva Cassidy’s , ‘ I Know You By Heart’
Someone to Watch Over Me played by Chris Botti, and daughters chose Superbird ( Neil Sedaka ) as they remembered dancing with him to that when they were young.
My choices are a work in progress. They will definitely include a Morricone one, and possibly something of Karl Jenkins and considering Freddy Mercury singing The Great Pretender for exit. So many much loved pieces to choose from.

I've never heard of anyone picking 'Girls Just Want to Have Fun'. A very odd pick in my view. I want Einaudi and You'll Never Walk Alone.

If I'd decided on a crematorium service instead of a direct cremation I would have had The Road to Hell on my way in, Eric Clapton playing throughout the service and at the end as my coffin was going through the curtains Baby You Can Light My Fire.

'As Time Goes By' would be my choice. Love that song and Casablanca is my favourite movie.

Don't fancy any on the lust but as I'm not sure where I'm going, I'll go " Into the mystic " with Van Morrison. He's my favourite singer/songwriter and I find this song very soothing and very poignant.
