My answer is that Scotts Of Stow def is a rip off.Everything they sell you can buy much cheaper in other shops.They just have the ‘cachet’ of Cotswolds but nothing else.

yes they are expensive but worth it if comfortable - he sometimes sits for half a day at his drawing board so needs to be the right height.

They are rather stylish but would the back be comfortable for long periods?

No, it is for two chairs - set of two.

I have bought things in the sale from Scotts of Stow at good prices cups, cutlery etc.

Coopers of Stortford usually have very similar stock significantly cheaper. I usually buy from them instead of Scotts.

My husband found a bar stool in their catalogue which is just the right height for his drawing board. 2 stools @£500

I thought it was a bit expensive so did a search. Dyas had them for £275 (unfortunately don't deliver to us) but found some for £330.

Are Scotts of Stow always such a rip off? They are the same as the picture is exactly the same.
