Drones

I think most times it is someone having one as a hobby and having a curious look around, but for every new technology there will be someone who uses it for criminal activity.

I don't think I would worry too much about it; we have on occasion had one in our neighbourhood. If it happens more than the one time, you can report it to the local police.

I was sitting on a river bank the other day when something caught my eye, a bird maybe. It turned out to be a drone. It felt quite sinister, you couldn’t hear it but we felt spied upon.

That's certainly a valid thought Shirley. I'm sure they're used for all sorts of nefarious reasons. I know estate agents use them, is there a house nearby for sale? Or it could just be someone who flew their drone off course but decided to have a nose at you and your garden anyway.
