I've caught up on all your news now. Grandmarie...get well soon and go gently on yourself. It will all still be there when you feel stronger. My knee is definitely improving. I can straighten my leg properly now. It still aches by the end of the day but that's bearable. My left foot is swollen just now and I think it may be down to the cut just above my ankle caused by darling dog catching me with his dew claw. DH attended and said it was deep and he thought he could see muscle. I told him to be quiet and get Savlon and a dressing but six days on...maybe I should have listened to him. Yesterday was intense. I had my one to one with the lady who will be my team leader. I have volunteered to help with a charity called Safe Families and my meeting yesterday was for them to get to know me more by hearing about my life. Thankfully we were in a secluded corner as I am ashamed to say I cried when reliving parts of it and by the end I felt completely drained. She was lovely though and far from thinking I would be useless she felt I would have lots of empathy with those struggling. All I wanted to do when I got home was have a good weep but I gave myself a mental kick up the b.m and had a cup of tea and cuddled the dogs. I think the last few weeks ( good and bad) have caught up with me as I hadn't had a panic attack this year up until last Friday either. Compared to what others in here are going through I have no reason to cry or panic and get cross when my body decides differently and let's me down.
GrannyG4....I think of you often ....as you start a journey you really didn't want to take...we are here to walk with you anytime you need us.
Yia...prayers for you both that a treatment plan can be sorted very soon for your DH.

Hula...Good Luck today.
Jax...you are back on Quiz form it seems. Well done.
AnnS...I hope your knee and the situation resolve themselves very soon and harmony is restored mentally and physically.
I've just checked my foot and it's definitely still swollen so I'd better bite the bullet and go to the doctors. Grrr.
