Good morning all from Glasgow, where it is 10 °C and cloudy.
A busy thread this morning, I am currently drinking cold tea¡ DH brought me a cuppa an hour ago and I fell back asleep!
We had a lovely day in Helensburgh yesterday, apart from moving only three miles in an hour in a massive traffic jam.
The selfishness and discourtesy of some drivers never ceases to amaze me.
A little bit of retail therapy, a delicious tapas lunch, followed by tablet ice cream and a gentle stroll along the front made it a perfect day.
GM, I got talking to the owners of the fabric shop about your quilting. Much to my amazement, they sell online. The shop reminds me of the shops of my childhood, crammed to the ceiling and every nook and cranny with stock.

Also, I treated myself to a China mug from a shop which sold only glassware and china.
I like tea from a China mug and I have dropped two in the last month, due to my painful and week hand.
There was no order to the chaos, but lots of beautiful stock. Another memory of my childhood.
The elderly owner bare spoke a word, DH and I were quite bemused.
The day out has left me exhausted, but it was worth it.
Today I am going to get my hair cut and of course shall enjoy hearing all the local gossip,
Have a very happy birthday, Liberty!
A wee reminder of the Glesca Grannies meet up on Wednesday 16th June
Enjoy your day folks, whatever your plans.
