Looking for a lovely silver medical bracelet

I can't wear that rubber/silicone material as it gives me a rash, neither can I wear anything like the friendship type bracelet as it would be disgusting in a couple of weeks as I do a lot of gardening etc. Silver, I can wear but don't want to buy something then find it rubs as my skin is very thin. I'll keep looking.

I am about to commence a treatment which requires one. I decided that if it looked too much like an ordinary bracelet it could be overlooked in an emergency. I therefore ordered a cheap and cheerful one from Ebay so that it will be obvious. It has an adjustable strap so that it will not dangle and be irritating.

Whatever happened to old-fashioned ID bracelets? All the rage in the Sixties and Seventies. I had several in silver. You could also get them in pure gold, but I was never rich enough!!!

I understand medical services are trained to look for them and even if I was prepared to have a tattoo, it is not recommended for anyone on blood thinners, also I need two conditions mentioned.

My daughter wore a bracelet for a while but eventually had a purple Epilepsy tattoo on the inside of her wrist. It would

It would not have occurred to me to look for a medical alert bracelet on somebody, I would look for Medical ID on a phone, I think a lot of people , apart from emergency services, would miss the bracelet unless it were a clearly marked one.

My mother had hers made by a local jeweller, medical details and contact phone numbers on one side, engraved with the medical "snake sign" on the other - easy to see this is a medical bracelet recognisable but not in your face. This was made in gold as her watch and rings are gold.

I bought a lovely one from easy, it looked like a Pandora bracelet, stainless steel though, only problem was people thought HCM was my initials and as it isn't they were confused and had to ask,
It now sits in the little velvet bag it came in in my drawer,

I got one from Amazon, not silver, MedicAlert have them, not sure of silver, most seem to be stainless steel.
