Today just my husband and Toby the cat, but it's early yet.
Yesterday I spoke to my husband, my neighbour, the son of my neighbour and my husband's cousin (she was on the telephone).
Not forgetting Toby the cat, and myself.

Nobody yesterday until 5.30 when I joined my daughter, SiL, two grandchildren. 16 and 19, at a Chinese restaurant.

I used to lead a charity for homeless people and today I was in a cafe having coffee with my husband when I overheard an elderly woman asking for details of the charity as she is homeless. Long story short I listened to her and took steps to help. As she was leaving she showed me this (see photo) and told me that she had found it on a bench in the park, it had made her day as she is very alone.

In addition to this woman and my husband I spoke to two friends in person, cafe staff, several shopkeepers, and had WhatsApp exchanges with my children.

A pretty good day! Often I speak to nobody unless you count the dog who, though a great listener, is not much of a conversationalist!😊

This evening I will either text or phone my daughter or she will get in first and phone or text me.
Just realised I never said my morning prayers (my excuse being that I ate something I should not have yesterday and spent all m orning on the toilet) so I had better add God belatedly to the list!

Just dh, but that’s fine - I don’t feel in the least deprived. And I did say thank you to the bus driver when I got off.
There’ll be plenty of talk tomorrow - 9 of us at a lunch for our 50th. 🥂🍾. And it’s def, going to be sunny - 1st June is an Auspicious Day!

missed that).

Just the people in the shop and my son on Facebook. Suits me. I have learned the hard way not to get too involved with people.
