I know how hard it can be to cater for these allergies but there is a risk of oversimplifying the problem. MissInterpreted is also correct that sloppy labelling is part of the perception problem.
I have a granddaughter with some potentially fatal allergies and serious intolerances. She carries an EPI pen and eats small amounts of various nut betters and sesame every day, all of which were identified medically as things she could otherwise have severely reacted to. She tried all these things in tiny amounts at Gt Ormond St. Her consultant apparently recommends all children eat nut butters every day, and that the previous advice to not give children nuts before 7 is part of the current problem.
Furthermore, today's babies and toddlers are all injected with rotavirus with their early vaccines and this destroys the gut bacteria, which may well give rise to conditions such as acid reflux and intolerances. My daughter only found it out the hard way with both her children but it is perfectly possible and acceptable to ask for the vaccines without rotavirus.
