Also to others who need it.
Urmstongran go and recharge your batteries while you can, it will do you a world of good.

I no longer have my lodgers, my GS’s, they have gone back to their elder brother, it is not a satisfactory arrangement but will suffice for the time being.
I had them for over 8 weeks, far too long, but it was necessary at the time.
The youngest one is going for a look and interview at a school today, the older one is still waiting for a place at a unit for autistic children, it may be a long time coming .
It is over 2years since they attended school, it is going to be difficult to pick up again.

My GD is loving her car and driving days, she is never at home.
I am so happy for her.
I must get on now with the very few jobs I undertake now although meals and planning are still down to me.

I have left many out but my ageing brain doesn’t retain all that I read but be assured that when I do read about your problems and worries I do think about you.

Good Afternoon to you all. Thinking of all those with struggles and worries..... Not an easy time and life can be so unfair sometimes.
The sun is shining here in Kent today.. I would love to be in my garden but have to visit dentist.... How inconvenient and expensive!
My DH had an appointment with cardiologist yesterday, he is going into hospital in a couple of weeks for a procedure.... Will be less anxious when thats done!
Enjoy your breakaway Urms, what a thoughtful and caring husband you have and I'm sure you deserve a little 'me time'. We tend to put ourselves last when caring for a loved one.

Pouring here today. Enjoyed coffee and world putting to rights with neighbours this morning. We’re about to empty the under bed storage, it’s an ottoman bed so in essence a horizontal cupboard. Our pre carpet fitting jobs are then completed. Come Monday we begin to put it all back .

Hope all goes well for your husband nannyg4. We were in a similar position last year, relieved to report after several smaller procedures and a valve repair Mr C is absolutely fine now. I’ve a booking with a torpedo tube tomorrow, full spine MRI. Always something as we mature.

I don't have much happening at the moment so not posting regularly I have bursitis left trochanter walking is very difficult with pain kicking in at 50yds and have Raynaud's I feel I am moaning all the time oh is very understanding but life is getting boring ,sorry for moan I do read your posts and know there are lots of you suffering in one way or another.Best wishes to all .

I had little sleep last night, and felt uneasy first thing, I let off steam to a member of this kind kitchen, gave my head a good wobble and proceeded to have a clear out of a few bits and bobs.

I feel better for doing something productive.

A good day here, we dropped DGD off at school and then I’ve been working in the garden all day. Definitely more than a potter today as I’ve been digging out some plants that weren’t looking that good to make room for something more colourful. Tomorrow I’ve got a volunteering session in the morning then meeting my pal for a coffee in the afternoon

I was persuaded by MrJ to go to our local last night and managed the big step onto the patio, great to see people, I’ve been getting a little stir crazy.
The first of three plumbers came today to look at a total refit of our en-suite, it was a future plan, the knee palaver has galvanised me into action.
Rained here brook so no gardening even if I was allowed 🙂.

Oh yes, jax, I’ve sorted as much as I can get away with as I live with a squirrel. There will be the opportunity for more as things go back. That’s assuming I can remember where they came from .

Hulahoop I’ve had that and it’s so wearing. Please ask your GP about a steroid injection - I found it miraculous and the pain has not comeback.

Nanytopsy unfortunately I have had guided injections which have made no difference ,don't know if there is anything else I asked about drainage but answer was no thanks for answering and I'm glad injections worked for you. Best wishes to all.

hulahoop I have Raynauds is it the cold hands and feet that are bothering you most?

Hi Jaxjacky it's both really big toe is very discounted and painful I have neurothopy in hands and feet my index fingers are the worst for changing colour Dr as prescribed some tablets so I am giving them a go what with bursitis and this I am feeling low but it will pass I hope.xx

Today hasn’t gone to plan, I am in A & E with The Imp who has split his earlobe at pre-school.

Gg hope it’s not too painful for him and is soon sorted.

Grannygravy that sounds very painful and messy. Ears bleed out of proportion to the accident, I've found. I hope The Imp is ok and you are too.

I have nowhere near your problems hulahoop, but I find ‘hot hands’ help popped into gloves, fingerless even, they do them for feet too. I also wear gloves from the Raynauds Society when it’s really cold.
I hope everything improves.

Thank you for the good wishes for The Imp, he has had his ear lobe glued, he is very sore and sorry for himself. Fortunately we have his two cousins here now (6 & 4) and they are distracting him.
