Good morning from a cold and dry Suffolk where the floods,at least on our drive, seem to be drying out well. The strong wind yesterday helped. I do so hope that life is becoming a bit more bearable for those with much worse conditions than we have had here.
Lovely to read of happy times enjoyed by many of you yesterday. Life here is quiet at the moment but the peace is to be enjoyed. I spent some time idying up in the garden yesterday buying new netting to cover the pots of tulips from being savaged by mice. Although the lady in the local gardening shop said hers had had a go at the daffodils in her pots, ours seem to leave those alone, preferring to feast on the just emerging tulips.
We ‘ll have a good long dog walk soon and then a quiet day with the papers before a very busy looking week from tomorrow.
