Good morning Mick and everyone from showery Carlisle. That is what is forecast all day so it will be indoors for me.
I saw the practice nurse yesterday and got prescribed antibiotics yet again. I detest having to take them as they kill off the good guys in the gut as well. However, now I am an aged person, my system doesn't clear off infections on its own it seems. I had to go into town after lunch to pick up the pills but I had other little errands to run as well including dropping off a bag full of books at the Oxfam book store. I've emptied a bookcase now so I will now get rid of an old one of those too. I really don't know why one person needs rooms full of 'stuff' to support their lifestyle.
I've been up radically early for me, out of bed at 5am as I had a conference call to Australia where it was the end of the working day for them. I'd forgotten the central heating wouldn't have come on though fortunately the house retains heat well.
The rest of the day will be spent pootling about at this and that as the fancy takes me, there are plenty of little jobs that need doing.
I hope the toilet's soon sorted grandMattie, a rather vital bit of the household! I can remember my grandparents' privy in the garden and, being a gardener, have sometimes wished I had one.
Good news for your sister WWW, I hope she progresses well.
I'll wish you all the best possible day, I think I'm needing a second breakfast and definitely more caffeine!
