I know it's only "stuff" but sometimes it is unbelievably sad to have lost something with a personal connection to someone no longer with us.
We had a bad house fire six years ago and lost virtually everything.
What really upset me though was a shawl my Mum had crocheted for me as a teenager. It lay across the corner of my bed.
The builders admitted they'd thrown it in the skip as it was filthy (water and smoke) but I could have washed it.
My husband and I spent several evenings searching through the skip to no avail.
No money could replace it. I cried for days at losing my shawl 😥
What was directly across the road from the school you went to?
How many pair of twins have you met?
Today the High Court has agreed that children can be given puberty blockers.
