Both these are usually as far from factual or truthful as you can get

I watch a few Australian programmes on TV, and I have noticed that they often start a sentence with 'look'. At first I thought it sounded rude or aggressive, but have got used to it.

The important question is . . . . . .

is it more or less irritating than people starting every sentence with 'so'?

What irritates me is when some is about to be interviewed they say to the Interviewer (who they have never spoken to before) ‘How are you?’. There is an epidemic of strangers asking each other this question and the answer is always in the affirmative. ?

Another irritation ‘Let’s unpack the question’. ?
