Good morning everyone from a damp Northampton; rain again overnight here.

Off out on a day trip with a friend to the Repair Shop in Sussex today, or the Wealdstone Country Living Museum, it's proper name, or something like that. Unfortunately we don't get to go into the Repair Shop proper itself, but the whole site looks an interesting place to visit. Just done a picnic lunch, and my friend is picking me up in just over an hour to join the coach. Fingers crossed that we don't get too many showers! Got my raincoat and umbrella just in case...

Good morning from a drippy North Leicestershire. It is not currently raining but it looks as though it poured overnight.

DH is off to the gum first thing and I am helping on a zoom Carer's course this morning and we have lots of bits and bobs to do in town.

Well the plumber arrived bang on time yesterday sorted everything out and DH is now one happy bunny after 47yrs he now has an outside tap. It's the little things that keep them happy.
No plans today will give the duster an airing think it's due.

Good morning all from East Yorkshire. It is overcast and damp.

At coffee morning yesterday we were delighted for one of our friends as she had received great news. She was diagnosed with a medical condition out of the blue early in the year. She is now fully recovered after treatment. As one of the others said we should be celebrating that with something stronger than coffee! Sadly the bar wasn’t open.

DH has to go in to the city centre this morning. I might go along and have a look in TK maxx. I also will be making spicy parsnip soup later. Soup season has arrived!

Good morning from a sunny Mallorca, easy travelling yesterday all my fears about having the correct paperwork unfounded thanks Urms.
Did a quick basic shop yesterday as we were to early to get into the Villa, so today is to be spent by the pool, there is a road not far from here so some distant traffic noise, apart from that it’s very peaceful.
Granmattie hope you feel better soon, more money to spend when you move! Obviously though prices everywhere will have risen. Mick hope your procedure goes well.

It’s good to hear you have rain at last, grandMattie but I’m sorry you have a gastric upset. Take care and maybe see if a food delivery slot might be available to save you going out. It sounds like you’ve chosen the right estate agent!

Good morning from E Kent. It is actually raining and we have had a goodly amount of good rain overnight.
Had a bad night with cold sweats and D&V. Feeling washed out now.
Yesterday, I had the estate agent round to value the house, just in case I need probate… he told me he had a soft spot as he sold it to the last 3 incumbents! I was aghast at how much the prices have gone up in 10 years. It has almost doubled!
Not much else. Very tired.
An empty today; I need to get some food, etc.
May today bring ease and comfort to those who need it; the best to everyone else. Carpe diem. ❤️????

We had a good day yesterday at Culzean, there wasn’t a breath of movement in the trees, it was so calm and peaceful. Very few visitors too, the quietest I’ve ever seen it.

Daft dug to the groomers this morning, a podiatrist appointment for me in the afternoon then a visit from a couple of friends this evening. In between times I’ll have to think about an evening meal.

DH and I got engaged on this day in 1974, yesterday we spotted a young couple who could have been us all those years ago. I felt quite nostalgic.
