Pink Floyd at Earls Court 1994, my favourite band. I'm so glad I got to see them before they split up.

Also Bon Jovi at Wembley, again in the 90's, the whole place was rocking !!

Muse at The Emirates Stadium, loved them.

I've seen most of the great bands and also some brilliant tribute bands.

Neil Diamond at the O2, Take That in Rotterdam and Cliff Richard many times when I was a teenager!

I was lucky enough to see most of the major punk bands in their heyday (apart from the Sex Pistols), but probably the best gigs I've ever attended would be Green Day and the Foo Fighters. My Chemical Romance were amazing too.

The best gig has to be Bruce Springsteen at Wembley Stadium every time. No one else quite compares.

The brilliant John Martyn ,months before he died in a small gig with around 50 people in the room .He was overweight ,drinkng on stage ,had lost a leg but he was magic .He sat with us at the interval and it was amazing,he wasn't the young handsome man I first saw when I was 17 but its an amazing memory I'll always treasure .

Another here for the Beatles at Hammersmith Odeon and also at a TV special called Around the Beatles (saw them close up there! Biggest thrill of my life).

I could never cope with large crowds like Wembley, but saw Tina Turner in the 1980s (1,500 seating so not too large).

Without a doubt Paul Simon on his farewell tour in Glasgow.
Also saw him with Sting in Glasgow, again an excellent night. Both within the last few years, can't remember exactly when.

There have been so many, it`s hard to pick just one, but the 3 Classical Spectaculars at the Royal Albert Hall were fantastic, wish I could have gone to them all.

I've been to so many. Beatles 5 times, no one will surpass them for me. Rolling Stones twice, Kinks, Tom Jones, Roy Orbison, many more
The best were Tony Bennett and Michael Buble.

Going back in time I saw Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran together in Liverpool.Sadly Eddie was killed in a car crash not long afterwards. They were both magic.

Fleurpepper - I was at the Isle of Wight in 1970 too. I was only 17 and had to beg my parents to let me go. More recently, when younger son was at Manchester University we went to see Faithless twice. Another standout was when Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac) played in Oxford with John Mayall. Green had recently started appearing in public again after a breakdown. It was brilliant

I saw The Kinks The Fortunes & Screaming Lord Sutch at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin in 1965, brilliant.

Live Aid has to be mine despite having seen my idol Eric Clapton more than 100 times.

I love gigs, have been to lots but my favourite ever was Bryan Ferry 1977 at DeMontfort Hall in Leicester. I wish I’d seen Oasis in their heyday.

I was there!!! It was brilliant.

It would have to be the first time I saw The Beatles at Hammersmith Odeon. I think The Yardbirds were the support act so we got Eric Clapton too!

I went to an antiapartheid concert at The Festival Hall in the late 60s. One of the acts couldn't appear (he'd just been jailed in America) and the substitute they brought on was Sammy Davis Jr. Absolutely incredible! My mum was so jealous!
