DD told me their forecast when I spoke to her yesterday Calli. Insurance companies are inundated with claims and government plans for all affected are up and running. It will be a very slow process until their house is habitable again. Renting meanwhile.

Another thumbs up from me, AussieGran. A bit of positivity and kindness is most welcome.

They always have difficulty with DH. One phlobotemist sent him away and told him to come back the next day and drink plenty of water in the meantime.

AussieGran ask the hospital to use a child size needle on you. It's the only way they could get or give blood to my mom.

Kalu I hadn't realised Brisbane was expecting more of the same this summer. After the dreadful floods I know that many homes, even if not flooded, have had a damp and mould problem. Very worrying. I hope your DD and SIL are ok now.

What a strange year it’s been weatherwise. It’s as though the world has literally turned upside down with drought here in the north and your floods there in the south. Are you still having the effects of La Niña there?
