Is Rod Stewart good looking?

I never thought he was good looking, but I loved his voice the first time I heard it. It was ‘In a Broken Dream’ by Python Lee Jackson in 1972. I’ve seen him live a few times, one especially in Manchester when he slipped on the stage and cut his leg badly. He carried on singing, ‘The First Cut is the Deepest’ while a doctor bandaged his leg. No-one realised how badly he was hurt, as he carried on.
He had to cancel a couple of dates after that though, while he healed.

I recently watched Elvis and Frank Sinatra singing together in a show. I think it was called Welcome Home Elvis, when he left the Army. It's a lovely clip. Boy does Elvis look handsome.

Just watching some Elvis DVDs which I've had for years and never played.
I'd forgotten about his cheeky smile and asides!

no, he was not good looking but still had such a following and was a success .Many singers and actors would fall into this category I think.He was original.

henetha yes the people we comment on could easily see these posts. I think people are very cruel and unthinking in their comments sometimes. Describing him as 'disgusting' instead of just answering politely is out of order.

It's funny, back in the '70s I really didn't see it. But age has shown his personality and character - as others have said here that combination of mischievousness with the 'genuinely good bloke' aura can be much more potent than conventional good looks. Very manly without having to prove it. So, definitely attractive in that funny way that can be better than being good looking!
Adam Ant in the '80s ... oh my goodness. Ian Dury could look quite attractive sometimes. Bryan Ferry's almost too good looking, if that makes sense. There's something almost unreal about a chap being that ridiculously gorgeous! Heaven on the eyes and ears though. And though Richard Harris was much more famous for acting, I'll include him here on the strength of the Jimmy Webb songs and for being seriously attractive.

Yes, it seems he's doing well now. Hopefully, by being so open and frank about it, it might help other men to seek medical help if they show signs of prostrate trouble.

He's healthy now after overcoming prostate cancer.

Charisma, charm, wit and intelligence outweigh conventional movie star looks any day. Beauty is ephemeral but the qualities I describe will endure all through a persons life. Rod has all of these qualities in abundance.

I like his voice, yes it's gritty and not smooth like the traditional crooners such as Bing Crosby,Matt Monroe etc but it has authenticity and realism. It suits the type of music. Rock music is meant to be real and gritty, even rock ballads benefit from some grit.

Some great songs too....over a long and illustrious career. He's now 77 I believe, healthy and in good nick and surrounded by the love and affection of his family.

He's obviously doing something right.

I think he had a certain cheeky appeal in his younger days but not conventionally handsome, a bit like Ringo Starr, I always liked him though.

I saw Rod live some years ago and he put on a great performance. He looked quite small up on stage, but then he is very skinny. I think he has been lucky to keep all of his hair which has been his trade mark.

I have just looked at the photo I like him even less now, what does he look like. If he was a lady you would say mutton dressed as lamb, nothing sexy whatsoever about him in my view, and good looking he is not. he. he sorry you did ask

No way, no sex appeal what soever, far from good looking and altogether not my cup of tea. I think you get the message, do not like him at all.
