Do those members of GN who are outraged at the behaviour of Charles and Camilla feel the same way about the multiple adultery of Johnson, his mistresses, unacknowledged children, abandonment of wife while she was being treated for cancer? Or is the venom saved for Camilla?

I don’t think that we need to be #teamDiana or #teamCamilla anymore (if indeed we ever did). I think that it’s unhelpful and cruel to judge people on what they did in their private lives 50 odd years ago.

They called her that because she was so quiet and shy, and hardly ever spoke. It started when she was around six.
Nothing at all to do with ‘wanting Andrew’ for heavens sake!

They are entirely different cases. No flaunting of their relationships before they separated so they were putting their children through it too. I have no problem with living in sin (if that's what you want to call it) nor people being divorced. I do have a problem with the way they treat their children which is totally different. However, I believe we've had this conversation before and we won't ever agree. Having been in the situation that Harry, William and The Parker Bowles' children were in and knowing the damage it did me, there's no way I am ever, ever going to change my mind about Camilla and Charles.

Nope, he might have been a womaniser but she was also seeing Charles whilst she was married to him. Two wrongs don't make a right. You could argue that the Parker Bowles' children had 2 adulterous parents but he's not about to become Queen Consort. The same with Diana. I am not arguing she was an angel but she isn't going to be a role model for the nation either.
Neither Charles nor Camilla are what I would term as "decent" role models.

They are NOT working Royals, NOT popular at all with any of the family, and it was NOT their day. As it is HM the Queen offered an amazingly generous olive branch to them - given all they have done - by inviting them at all. HM the Queen may want to let bygones be bygones but the rest of the family clearly don’t and rightly so IMHO, after the numerous examples of how they have disrespected the Royals….Harry’s closest relatives.
