Digital signatures

I've had to sign quite a few documents this way and they seem to be legal! It doesn't feel right somehow though does it?

Thanks for this - I have signed it now. The charity that I will be volunteering with is Bookmark - worth a look if any of you have a bit of time on your hands. It involves helping primary age children to learn to read and can be done either in person or online (which is what I will be doing).

I’ve used Docusign quite a few times for things like contracts. It’s EU regulated and given the kind of things I have signed, it’s being used with confidence by some pretty big companies. It’s unlikely you have anything to fear.

Just been asked to sign a document digitally (it is a declaration of my absence of a criminal record) - it is a random representation of my name and part of the agreement is that it can be used for legal documents. It is for a respected charity, and the programme is DocuSign. Anyone else familiar with this?
