Lucca, I'm so touched by your bravery. Your spirit shines through. We are all a little concerned about how we look, it's natural. You're not vain.
A friend of mine lost her hair through chemo and she loved some little triangular colourful cotton headscarves which we found online. She said they were more comfortable than a wig.

Oh Lucca so sorry to hear! No you are not vain, we all want to look our best when out. So do wear your wig if that’s what you want or scarves and hats as others suggested. Some people may prefer to show the ‘GI Jane’ look, it just depends. So whatever you prefer it’s fine. All the best.

Sad news Lucca.
It’s not vanity, but another part of you that you’ve lost control over, by getting wigs, turbans or scarves, you’re taking some control back.

My hair causes me quite a lot of problems fine flyaway etc etc but I would definitely mourn it's loss.

I hope you are able to find some really bright comfy scarves.

Vanity? Hell no.
If you see your reflection in a mirror or a shop window and it makes you feel good that’s a big tick. A PMA and everything necessary for it is high up my wish list for you.

I'm sorry for your news, Lucca and I don't think it's vanity at all. It's about what makes you feel good and what helps you face the day. Some people are fine with losing their hair, others may choose a wig, or a headscarf or whatever. It's all about finding what you feel most comfortable with.
