anyone tried the new online Wordle word game?

4 for me today. Thought it was really difficult and couldn’t think of any word with my combination of letters then Suddenly it came to me. Pleased either 4 today

lemsip thanks so much for posting the link. I was trying to find out how I could play this. Really enjoying the brain workout in the morning.

Very tricky today but after a lot of thought (and I mean a lot) got in 4. It's my latest addiction.

3 today.

ha ha just tried it, it's great! we used to play a game like this on paper.

It took 5 today, I think I might change the word I have been starting with tomorrow and see how I get on with a new one.

Stuck! I don't want to use the last row yet. I might have an inspiration after I've had a brew.

Bit nail-biting as my options were running out!

It took a bit of time but got it in four. I went on "unlimited" yesterday and found I got most in three or four (three has a bit of luck chucked in) but I still can't see how anyone can get it in two unless it is complete luck. If any of you consistently 2x and 3x people are willing to share your start words and strategy (the next day obviously) I'd love to learn from your superior brains, but I just can't see it.

I've usual posted by now but now struggling. Glad I'm not alone. My first word has given me two letters in the right place. Will try again later.

I’ve 8x4s and 7x3s so far, with 2x5s and just the one solitary 2, foxie, so not consistent at 2 and 3 by any means, and definitely not of superior brain. But if it helps, my 2 was by sheer good luck. I can’t remember what word it was, but I got four of the letters right in line 1. No skill involved!

Thank you, muse, I thought it was hard today. I had two options for the last two letters on line 3 and went for the right one. Luck again!

Tina49 I got it first time on one occasion, obviously a complete fluke and actually not as satisfying as working the answer out. I've never got it in two as I think that would again be complete luck!

I am probably teaching grandmothers to suck eggs.
For the first line use a word that contains these most used letters e, t, a, i, o, n, s, h, and r.
However that being said, it is more difficult today.

Phew. Took me 6 attempts. Then it suddenly hit me! I must improve my score. I’ve been trying the “unlimited” version but it’s really addictive. Time I emptied the dishwasher!

I got it in 6 today. Thought I was not going to be lucky but got there by the skin of my teeth. I’m a bit addicted to Wordle Unlimited. We could be doing worse things!

It’s when you’ve got the last 3 letters and you don’t want to risk the wrong ones at the start that I find hard.

My OH is still struggling with today’s! ?. Yes, Wordle Unlimited is addictive, but as you say Allegretto we could be doing worse things, and it’s keeping the brain active.?
