anyone tried the new online Wordle word game?

My son and d-i-law introduced me to Wordle - knew about it before but couldn't figure out how to do it - so..... 5 first go and 5 today.
Quite addictive I think!

Ditto for me tanith 5 goes. Every letter I chose in the first word I tried was wrong.

But surely a lot is down to luck. I prefer Countdown.

Sooo close at 2 but wasted the third attempt, sadly.

Got it in 3 today- better than the yesterday which was a dreadful performance!

Richard Osman gave an example where the word ended in -rick. There is more than one answer to this.

He could have given an example of what he thinks it could be but it's not the one correct answer because it doesn't contain all the correct letters.

First-time four for me too, loved it. It reminds me of the board game “Master Mind”, 2 players with coloured pegs on a plastic board, also a game of elimination.

I got it with the second try today. Pure luck! Well, and it was very close to one of my 'magic' words.
