Are small Air fryers worth buying.

An air fryer sounds good to me.I have an oven that runs on LPG and is very expensive so a fryer would be much more economical.

We have a tefal. Not sure that I’m that fussed, don’t use it that often …….however the steaks and meat products following the instructions are absolutely fantastic! I’ve never made a steak so well.

Use ours every day small one from qvc, do everything in it even a version of KFC found on U Tube, bake cakes perfect for two has own place on surface along with morphy richards steamer the square one,plus microwave . Don't use cooker that much

I use my Ninja Foodi almost every day. I also have a small Tower air fryer. It does wonderful sautè potatoes and roasted vegetables. I cook sausages and bacon using the air fry setting.
DH is a bit unsure of the foodi, but he uses the Tower for heating his pies, making toasted sandwiches and chips.
I can highly recommend them.

I bought a 2.2 litre tower and it is honestly wonderful and very economical to use, even does pastry to crispy from frozen. This morning I did roasted veg in 20 minutes from cold and a medium sized bakewell tart from frozen to done in 16 minutes

Its a perfect size for me, uses a tiny amount of oil and max energy usage is only 1000watts.

I am watching this thread with interest as I’ve been considering one too but don’t want to end up with another item that will just end up in a cupboard.

Is it better to get one with a paddle.?

B9exchange - I also have a Foodi and love it. Does so much more than just air frying and is really useful whether it's just the two of us, or if I'm catering for the whole family.

I have a Ninja Foodi after reading about it on GN. Brilliant, bakes, roasts, air fries, grills, pressure cooks, steams and sautes.
Very little need to put the oven on when just for the two of us. Have to do everything to try and keep the energy bills down!

We have a Tower 2.2 litre air fryer and it's great for the two of us.
I can't remember switching the grill on once since we bought it, and use it most days.
Does great roast veg - as long as you remember to give the basket a toss half way through the cooking time.
Used for chips, roasties, fish, burgers, pastry items and so on.
Trial and error what works for you, but really pleased I bought it especially as many items are cooked quicker in it than the oven.

Just about to do a search for the same question - I see posts about small Tower ones - recommend please!
