My own father who of course had never heard of Prince Andrew, could not sweat. My mother , who had never heard of Prince Andrew, told me this when I was was girl . My mother did not explain about the adrenaline thing as she had no medical knowledge, but after Andrew's admission about not sweating . I can understand how hormones are affected by some severe life events. My father was at the Eastern Front during the Great War.
Also in support of Prince Andrew, he probably did not even know that it was illegal or even immoral to shag an unknown and poor seventeen year old girl. Very rich people have odd childhoods, and it takes special efforts by parents and teachers to teach them what real life is.
Did anyone watch the documentary last night about Ghislaine Maxwell? I'm not sure a juror appearing on a TV show is a good idea, but the girls who spoke about what happened were completely believable. PA,Maxwell and Epstein were so close, surely he must have known.

I just don’t understand why people are blaming the Queen, unless they pass responsibility for their own wrongdoings or wrong-sayings, onto their mother, even though there may be no comparison between those and human trafficking.

No trisher, only your mind could twist my words to mean that. I’m asking whether you think the Queen should be held responsible for the activities of her son whatever they are, any more than your mother should be held responsible for your words and actions.

I did not have a good childhood so I suppose it's that I had to unlearn some things I learnt from my mother and yes, I would feel responsible if my children didn't turn out to be good people...
I'm not judging the Queen or anyone else though, it's just a small part of me
Agree VioletSky it isn’t a normal life compared to any in the U.K.
We often use the same ingredients to bake a cake…. baked in the same oven & at the same temperature etc….. however they don’t always turn out Exactly the same ( well mine don’t, but that’s another story)
It is the same with our dear children, we just don’t know what they will turn out like. Too much of Great Granny, not enough of Great Grandad , a sprinkle of Aunt Fanny etc etc. They usually find a suitable tin ( life) that they can fit into, just might not be the tin that we would have liked them to be in.

And you would of course have done exactly as she told you to, never met your bad pal with all the delicious young friends again (even to tell him that you would never meet him again) and gone straight to the police to confess that you had been a wicked lecher after underage totty, and would be delighted to appear in court to tell your sordid story to the world press.
But Trisher you are not the arrogant second son of the monarch, with the independent means to spend vast sums indulging his taste for fresh talent and a belief that no-one would dare to challenge his right to spend his money as he wished, and that any young lady he honoured with his attention would be too flattered to denounce him. So whatever good advice his mother gave him, he was likely to ignore it in favour of saying nowt and trusting to luck.
The Washington Posts knows Andrew went to his mother’s for
lunch ,and what a load of codswallop he will be questioned as to what his mother said or didn’t say.

No-one knew they were grooming and procuring children - they would have seemed a normal couple.
Well everyone knew when Andrew chose to visit him after he had been in prison.
I don’t think anyone would sensibly argue that the mother of a 60 year old is responsible for their actions, but one hopes that the relationship would be such that mother and son would discuss friendships and situations at times - particularly if the family is in the public eye.
