One of the Rochdale girls was distressed not to be called as a witness when her abusers were finally tried. The reason given, was that she’d recruited other girls so her evidence may be doubted by the jury.

This was one of the reasons Maggie Oliver the police officer so active in ensuring the abuse was properly investigated and the girls believed and supported, resigned.

Why you always believe what the 'victim' says is beyond me trisher. I form my own opinion based on what I see and hear. I have said before that there are some pretty evil girls who set out to trap men and this one even recruited others, telling them to lie about their age! And reneged on an agreement not to sue Epstein's associates despite pocketing $500k for signing the agreement. What integrity.

I believe that there were girls in the Rochdale abuse case who recruited others. It isn't unusual in cases of abuse for girls to be used. It doesn't mean they are liars. Apparently now 14 year old girls are "evil" and "out to trap men". That's exactly the same attitude taken by those who thought the Rochdale girls were prostitutes. Given the amount that Epstein made out of his lifestyle (no one really knows where his fortune came from) that really isn't a huge amount is it? She is entitled to change her mind.

It isn’t about believing every word Virginia Guffrei says. For me it’s about understanding the research , which as well as confirming her behaviour isn’t unusual, it’s rare for false allegations to be made.
It’s about treating a woman who was neglected, sexually abused and exploited from a very young age with some decency.

Really honest and caring then. But hey, trisher and others will believe every word she says.

The sad truth is that she has acted exactly like a victim of abuse would until they were able to break free physically and mentally

If so, I don’t seek to criticise her, as a monarch or as a mother.

Iam I am one of the very few who don’t believe Giuffrie, I have not criticised any other girl who has spoken out, I think they are so brave.

As you have never commented on the posts which lay blame on a woman age 65 can I assume you too think she should have
known of her son’s behaviour.

The image of Clinton wearing the blue dress is a painting, not a photograph. Clinton’s attitude to casual/exploitative sex with women is well known. No surprise he’d be friends with Epstein.

The vitriol and abuse directed at Virginia Guffrei on these threads go some way to explaining why women/girls/boys/ victims find it hard to speak out.

Just think of the despots that HM has had to entertain in the name of international relations Lizzie. Doesn’t mean she likes or agrees with them. The logs for Epstein's private jet (known as the Lolita express) have Andrew on the passenger list quite a few times when they flew to his private island. There was a detailed and compehensive instruction book for staff on the Island which told them "You see nothing, you hear nothing, you say nothing.". All on the programme last night.
