How I wish they'd ban them or at least make them one night only, any excuse these days, what's wrong with people that they can't have a good time without ridiculous amounts of noise that cause others so much unhappiness.
They're certainly not needed at birthdays and weddings, surely those events are celebration enough without these silly attention seeking signals. Stay inside at the party and have party poppers instead & then nobody else has to endure them.
